prepalita is really an excellent signing for rostov. Extremeley talented box to box midfielder with goal scoring ability and excellent defending/ball winning skills and a wealth of experience, including Champions League and Europa League with Steaua Bucharest(where he was captain) and Razgrad. At thirty years of age he is in his prime, excellent reinforcement. Papa gueye is also very experienced and captained dnipro in ukraine(centre back). (Europa League team). Will be difficult for EZ to start the biggest games this year because Gatskan,Noboa,Erokhin, and Prepalita are probably ahead of him in pecking order. He will definitely get good minutes in league though as rostov play with 3 centre mids, so they will probably start him in many league games.

highlights of prepalita. Hopefully he can get some more good service to azmoun. Rostov did not buy an additional striker but did get grigojev(winger), who is talented but not that consistent. He is a decent buy as well. Other signings are defenders, couple centre backs, a backup gk, and one left back and one right back
Overall with these new additions and Berdyev back, I think Rostov is the place for our boys until the WC. Then at the ages of 21 and 23 respectively, they can make their big moves.

Sardar is pretty helpless in front of goal if he isn't serviced well, he isn't the type of player who creates chances for himself.

That's why his stats can look misleading, because he plays in a very defensive team with almost close to zero chances every game.

It is hard for any striker to score in that situation. In the game vs. Qatar and China, I had the same impression of our wingers and midfield not giving him enough support to do something. It makes every striker look bad.
