Well to be fair, he probably could've scored that it he hadn't kicked the grass, unlike his selfish plays against Korea and Uzbekistan where there was no chance he could've scored those
Sardar Azmoun & Saeid Ezatolahi @ FC Rostov | 2016/17
Strikers need to have selfishness, its actually seen as a positive trait. Maybe he should've passed there but if his shot connected he might have had a decent chance
A pretty bad game so far.
Azmoun hasn't been bad or good. Honestly considering how little possession Azmoun gets at all, the difference between a good and bad game for him is only a few touches.
I haven't seen Rostov send him one decent cross in the box.
Strikers who can finish at world class levels can be selfish, not sardar. He has world class potential and talent but he's not at that level just yet. That being said, strikers need to produce goals be it through scoring it themselves or creating chances for their team mates it's not strictly about scoring it themselves. Azmoun is certainly getting full of himself I have said it since the Qatar game where he got lazy and has remained that way since, his deminor on the pitch is so different. He could have easily given Ramin an assist vs SK and today he did the exact same thing with poloz. He needs to get his head out of his koon!
