Iranian escaped last year's visa problems and begin to prepare for the season with the rest of the players of the team

22-year-old forward of "Rostov" Sardar Azmoun is one of the main leaders of the team. Iranian acts as a very confident on the inside and on the European stage, what is of interest from a number of foreign clubs. But, as already reported "Izvestia", at least until the summer, the striker will remain in "Rostov". For Azmun as for Shakhtar, it is important to perform successfully in the spring part of the Europa League. This will help to attract the attention of even more clubs and, consequently, increase the price of a football player.

For January 6 Rostov club will start to prepare for the spring stage of the European cup and the championship of Russia. The first gathering will be held in the United Arab Emirates and will last 15 days. Last year, one of the duties the team also took place in this country, and Sardar Azmoun, like Iranian citizen had problems in obtaining a visa in the UAE. As reported by the official website of the football club "Rostov", the problems were caused by the crisis in relations between the two countries. In this connection, the player had to prepare for the continuation of the season on their own. According to "Izvestia", this year the problem was solved, and Azmun starts first collection with the other players.

    - At this time, "Rostov" took into account the mistakes of last year and was able to resolve the problem with the visa, - he told "Izvestia" a source at the club. - Therefore, no problems at Azmun should arise, and he will take part in the collection, which will be held in the UAE. Serdar - badly needed for the football team, and all understood the importance of his presence on the training team training.

This information "Izvestia" and confirmed the former vice-president of "Rostov" Shikunov Alexander, who left the post at the beginning of 2016, but remained close to the club.

    - As I recall, the last time there were some technical problems, so Serdar was not at the first gathering - said "Izvestia" Alexander Shikunov. - This year everything seems to be settled questions, and Azmun travel to the United Arab Emirates together with the team.

This season Serdar Azmun took part in 14 matches "Rostov" in the Russian championship and scored two goals. The League striker champions played in all six matches of the team in the group stage and four games of the qualifying stage, scoring four goals (the gates of Madrid, "Atletico" Munich "Bavaria", Amsterdam's "Ajax" and Brussels "Anderlecht") and gave two assists transmission.

Recall Sardar Azmoun appeared in the Russian championship back in 2012, moving from the Iranian "Sepahan" in "Ruby". In the 2015/2016 season he was loaned to the "Rostov". And since the beginning of the season it is a full player in the Rostov club. Also in 2013, in favor of the national team of Iran. At the moment, the market value of Sardar Azmoun, according to experts, is about € 7 million.

I read a few weeks ago Azmoun is staying in Russia until the end of the season.

I remember last month that everyone here was choosing where he would go next. I kept saying wait until January. Can we please learn from this that for transfers you have to wait and no go for any rumor?

Transfermarkt is a fan made website. It's numbers have no barring on any transfers or how much a players worth.

The only thing that matters is how much a team pays for you.

Of course the market values are not always on point (thats not possible anyways) but transfermarkt is a very big site with lots of influence. Agents are checking that site regulary and all my friends who are pro or semi pro players check out their values and take it very serious. There are also cases where agents of some players tried to bribe their players value up.

Guys, the only reason they said 7million is because all the previous articles on Azmoun have been using his last transfermsrkt price over the last few months and this article used those article as reference without seeing his updated price. Not saying that the new price is completely accurate.

                  elaaaaahiii.
that was the most romantic request ever made here
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

I think Sardar is still in Gonbad.

Dutch news outlet Voetbalzone are claiming that Klopp is going for Quincy Promes of Spartak Moscow instead. I guess this means that a potential Liverpool move for Sardar falls through.

dude they dont even play similar positions. Azmoun only plays centre forward, he has never played wing. Promes is a specialist winger, attacking mid. He is the type of player liverpool have been after all along.

"Five reasons Liverpool must revisit deal for Azmoun

Russian football’s best young talent is undeniably Sardar Azmoun. The FC Rostov striker has been interesting Liverpool in recent months but should the Reds be considering a move for the talented youngster?

According to the Guardian back in November, Jurgen Klopp’s side were in pole position to sign the Asian star after his impressive performances for his club both domestically and in the Champions League – their inaugural campaign in the continent’s premier competition.

The Iran international’s future looks set to continue outside Russia in the coming years given his talent, but is he ready for the leap to England’s top-flight?

Klopp’s side already have numerous attacking options, but securing the potential of Azmoun would be a foolish move to simply overlook.

A January raid is unlikely to be welcomed by the Russian outfit, but the race for his signature in the summer should be one the Merseysiders win.

Here are FIVE reasons why Sardar Azmoun must become a Liverpool player…

                          ‘Iranian Messi’

Let’s face it, putting the name ‘Lionel Messi’ into a sentence automatically makes the player in question an attractive proposition for supporters.

There’s no denying Azmoun’s ability and if the Iranian can produce anything near what Messi does, then shouldn’t Liverpool been keen to take a gamble on the 22-year-old?

Azmoun could end up like the ‘Egyptian Messi’ – Mohamed Salah – and prove a waste of money, however, but this player certainly has more potential than the former Chelsea man.

                          Adds strength in depth

As Danny Ings continues to struggle for fitness at Liverpool and Daniel Sturridge’s relationship with Jurgen Klopp somewhat turbulent, Azmoun’s move to Anfield makes sense.

The Iranian would add depth to the Reds’ squad and prepare them for the eventuality of European football.

For the Reds to be successful, they will need to add more quality throughout their squad and Azmoun ticks a number of boxes.

                          Mane replacement

Signing players with a short-term fix view is not an overly wise approach, and likely one Klopp won’t be overly keen on, but Liverpool need to solve the issue that is Sadio Mane’s absence through this month. The Senegalese star could be away until early February at the Africa Cup of Nations, which will leave the Reds short of options in some big games.

Azmoun, who can play on either flank or as a striker, would offer much cover and has the quality to step into the starting XI.

Youngest Iranian to play in the UCL

Arguably the most prestigious competition in world football, being in the Champions League shows that you’re a player at the very top of the game.

FC Rostov qualified for the tournament this season but were knocked out in a group containing both Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, yet Azmoun featured regularly in all six of his team’s games and scored two goals.

                          International pedigree

Azmoun is already a full international with Iran. Now the majority of people will be asking: “What else would you expect?” However, more impressively, the player has scored 18 goals in just 22 games for his national team.

The Reds have the potential to grow their profile and open themselves up to many new supporters with the exposure Azmoun would bring them in his home region."

Interesting, if my Google Translate skills are good in Russian, then it seems that Rostov's management wanted Sardar to join the team in Emirates for the camp, but Sardar did not show. Berdyev is running the camp, and neither Sardar, nor Saeid joined the squad in Emirates.

This may be a sign that both are leaving the team. Just thought this fact was interesting. With Sardar being Berdyev's boy, I'm surprised that Sardar would forego this camp.

Didn't the exact same thing happen last season? Something to do with UAE not allowing Sardar to enter the country.
