what the hell is happening here lol . ppl trying to destroy sardar's career. After all of his great play for TM. Sad. This is his career not ours , retards. He doesnt need time to acclimatize to Rubin as he would a big european club, where there is a big chance he will be benched, which prior to a WC would be disastrous for him. Many players have made similar decisions. People are so emotionally attached here in an unhealthy way. Get a fucking grip . We all want to see him in a big european club , and he himself has the same ambitions like he has stated regularly. Instead of making up elaborate conspiracies about him and Berdiev ( who is an incredible coach) , lets just get behind and support a 22 y/o striker, who has proved himself against the best, and will be our centre forward at the WC next summer. He has always maintained he would stay in Russia until after WC, this isnt a shock move.

Not necessarily . I'll give you one example. Last summer henrikh mkhitaryan moved from borussia dortmund to Manchester United . He was a bonified superstar at Dortmund and recognized globally . At United he hardly played for the entire first half of the season. If this were a WC year he would be completely out form and match fitness . So many more examples ( Gabriel Jesus , lucas Perez, batshuayi , etc ). These are just some examples from just ELP THIS SEASON. sardar , a much younger , inexperienced player , coming from Russia to a top league , will need a far longer time to adjust to new culture, team , coach , training , etc. that could take months . He needs to be hitting peak form in time for WC. None of the adjustment elements apply with this move .

As i said earlier i don't mind if it is only for one year and before WC, BUT i have a feeling it will last longer, no one asking Azmoun to jump directly from Russian league to top European teams, the realistic scenario could have been a mid table, Bundesliga, EPL, La Liga or Serie A teams, so yes it could have been a bigger challenge, but he had the potential to do that.

the simple fact is that East Asian players bring sponsors ; $$$$
other simple fact is that their are far more player agents who are well known and have East Asian players in their portfolio.
Iran and Iranians simply don't carry a good name and that is also working against us.

So their are a ton of reasons why a nobody like Zheng can go to Weder Bremen (bechwarmer) and Azmoun is still in Russian League.

After a 10+ years of absence of our players in Europe, we should be happy even with the Russian League, plus lets not forget that Azmoun didn't managed to score even double digits last season.

IMHO we all think our players can reach Man Utd, but the reality is telling us they struggle to survive in mid table teams, even often in mediocre leagues!
