Note, before CQ came to coach TM, guys like Ansarifard and most of TM were more than happy to stay inside Iran. Some, like Rahmati and Jalal Hosseini refusing offers from Malaga and Wolfsburg to stay in Iran. This has been noted by the men themselves, so don't sit here and tell me that the players just didn't have the opportunity to leave. Under previous vatani coaches, they didn't want to leave, because they didn't have to. "Oh, it's too hard, I'll miss my parents :'("

Iran has not been this powerful as a team in years!!! Even under Branko with the talent he had, I still worried, because despite our talent, we were without any real tactics. Go back and watch Iran vs. Angola 2006 and tell me if CQ would not have won that game. Even when we are winning games 4-0, CQ never lets the players give up. That is something we have never had in TM.

That, mixed with Iranian players "randomly" getting the itch (according to you) to go play in Europe to improve their fitness and tactical knowledge, means that this team could be the first to bring Iran back to dominance since 1976. If you don't see how shit the team was when CQ inherited it, to the place of promise and potential we are now, then I understand why you are not a fan.

I do not say that CQ was the ONLY reason these players are in Europe. Obviously the players have skill, but we had skilled players in 2011 that went to waste. Why didn't they go to Europe then to play in Turkey or Dinamo Zagreb. They surely could have gotten opportunities there. They didn't want to, and you are being stubborn if you think anything other than that fact. We know these things. We know our players had the attitude of Barcelona or nothing. CQ has made players see that playing in a 2nd division Dutch team, or a Swedish team makes you more wanted for TM than playing in IPL. Note how every legionnaire gets called up.

The new Ali Karimi got dropped in recent times, but aren't you sure CQ will call him up now if he completes his move to Dinamo Zagreb? That's the difference, CQ looked elsewhere and promoted the ideal that these players should take a risk and get to Europe if they want to be on his radar.

Seriously, it seems so clear, but there are still fans wondering why people respect CQ so much. Who else has brought Iran to #1 in Asia, and made us not lose to Asian opposition in several years? I can't remember the last time we were confident playing teams like Saudi, Qatar, etc. I was scared to play Arab teams under previous coaches, many of us were due to their ability to play mind-games. Notice how confident we are to beat these teams now? How can you not acknowledge all of these positive contributions to our football?

The amount of misplaced hatred that some of you have for our players, our coach, etc. We deserve to lose games with fans like you. They work so hard on and off the field to succeed for us, and people still sit here bashing. You will have your repayment in a couple of years when CQ is gone.
