    Sajjad Shahbazzadeh @ Alanyaspor 2016-2017

Turkey has never been safe or a country with law an order. My baba used to buy off Turkish border and istanbul cops for a pack of cigarettes. I've had fun visiting the county but their government is a total joke.

Turkish nationalist party has been linked to Grey wolves, a fascist and terrorist organization responsible for many assassinations and war crimes. There is a long history between them and Pan-Turks who ruled over Azerbaijan Republic in early 90s. They used to openly attack Iran in their speeches and were talking about marching on Tehran and ceding Azerbaijan provinces. They have been brain washing their kids in Azerbaijan Republic to hate Iran and Persians with false claims in their school books. (Their crazy President Elçibey was a zealous Pan Turk and died from prostate cancer)

They propagated every day about Pan Turkism and Turan la la land. They have been successful in some degree and you can see their influence on Iranian Azerbaijan and some Tractor fans. They still look at us as their rivals because the rift between Iran and Turkey goes back to several centuries ago. (Ottoman vs Saffavids) Anyway some ordinary folks don't give a shit but those hard headed ultra nationalists and nut job Pan Turks still have deep grudges against us.

I've been away from PFDC for a while. I just watched Sajjad's goal vs Galatasaray. That was sweet Damesh garm!

I hope he stays in Europe.

It actually says that he has already been released.

They probably don't want him anymore since they enquired another striker.

Yes sorry I need to touch up on my Farsi but at least I got the bigger picture down that he's gone

He'll likely join Esteghlal I'm assuming....they could really use him.

With acquisition of Ando, Djeparov and Sajjad most likely, Esteghlal will have a good balance of young and experienced players for ACL, if they beat Al-Saad, the real issue of Esteghlal is their central defenders, i wonder how they didn't acquired any central defenders.

Disappointed it didn't work for him. Don't really blame the player, he was asked to do a job against arguably the best team in the country, particularly at galatasarays ground and he did more than just a job, he scored a equalising goal, a great goal and played a good overall game. Then a few weeks later, get your backside out the door to Esteghlal?? Why? Just makes no sense.

Hope a team comes for him again, maybe Greece, Panionios??

He needs a better agent, this guy is very talented and he needs to stay in Europe, because he is qualified. His goal against Galatasaray suggests so!

There were rumors that his agent had a fall-out with the management, therefore Alanyaspor decided to sign Vagner Love and to sideline Sajad from the squad. A move to another European team is very unlikely, maybe to a Turkish 2nd division team. Now that Esteghlal has been banned from signing players, the situation is even more complicated.

This is the profile of his agent: http://www.tff.org/Default.aspx?pageID=659&ftID=1873587

Interestingly, the same agent met Torabi and Akhbari before the game vs Syria.

It is a shame that a player of his calibre gets benched on a turkish bottom table team. Vs. Galatasaray he proved that he deserves to at least be in the squad!! I hope he signs with Panionios.

Iranian players and Turkey doesn't seem like a good fit, it's better for our footballers to avoid this country and rather go to Greece if the opportunity arises. Our footballers are admired and respected in Greece.
