This is why I am against bringing in average/below-average lower European league players similar to the likes of Iraq/Afghanistan/Syria. We already have great players and we produce them every year, we never lacked and never will lack the talent. The goal should be exposing them in TM and sending them to Europe.
I don't think any player would deserve a TM call up just for the sake of playing in europe, but there is no reason to ignore them if they're actually doing well in their respective leagues . These players also have much better chance of getting noticed by decent teams after a good season in Allsvenkan for exemple!
IMHO out of our current crop of Iranian players playing in lower european leagues (Sweden, League one ...), only Ghoddos looks like an interesting prospect and maybe Tafazolli in future.

Back on topic, just noticed that Shahbazzadeh can also play as a winger/CAM and he actually played most of the 2014/2015 in these positions (finishing with good stats) so maybe CQ will still consider him despite our great striker depth?

I agree with Ghoddos and Tafazolli. If they accumulate good performances they deserve a look or a call to be under the staff's eyes so that they can judge them.

Shahbazzadeh did play on the wing and CAM/Secondary Striker but *GN was criticized by doing so because they felt they did not make full use of his capabilities (by playing him upfront). He mostly played as a Striker for SS tho. His striking technique and finishing in general is much better than a player like Taremi or Ansarifard which makes it a waste to play him outside his natural position, he doesn't need several opportunities to score such as the likes of Taremi/Ansarifard/K.Rezaei etc..

We need to wait and see I wouldn't be surprised if CQ calls him up and plays him in those positions but I don't think he would be as good as Striker

It was do or die situation for him regarding TM, he is 26, he knew with Karim, Sardar, Gucci, Taremi or even Kaveh Rezaei, who all 5 have been preferred to him during many occasions by CQ, his chance of getting the call for TM was very slim, unless he could become top scorer in League. So he decided to go for his career instead of money, forget about some of the money club owed him and act smart.
Now if he manage to score between 5-10 goals in Turkish league he will for sure get the call by coach.
Sajad is actually one of few smart finisher in country and he have scored some very amazing goals for Iran Football standard, good move by him.

Same with Ali Karimi who has 0 caps and will play in Dinamo, regular UCL participants.
To be honest i think the guy is underrated. His finishing touch is pretty decent for IPL standard, IMO he is better than Kaveh Rezaei and for number of chances he get vs goals he scored, i think he is even better than Taremi, but Taremi advantage is he creates lot of chances by himself, Sajad is better in Box striker while Taremi can play well outside box as well.

Man I love both Alanya and Antalya, I would love to one day live there (Of course with decent income and in its great neighborhood)

Some information about Sajjad new team, they were last team which got promoted and have lowest budget in league. It will be hard for them to survive, also Sajjad has some competition, they have like 4-5 forwards already with Jonathan Ayité who is their main striker and scored 30 goals and assisted 10 in 65 games for them

I'm a bigger fan of Shahbazadeh than I am of Taremi now.

I lost so much respect for Taremi.

We all say how we think Taremi is better and compare him to Shahbazzadeh but in all fairness the two simply should not be compared because of their different styles. As mentioned Taremi's movement on and off the ball is brilliant whereas Shabbaszadeh is a more polished finisher. That being said, my gut feeling tells me Taremi will still be even more used than Shahbazzadeh because of his versatility and style - in other words Taremi is basically competing for playing time with Amiri, Torabi, JB, and Dejagah (2 of which will feature in a starting XI) whereas Shahbazzadeh will have Azmoun, Gucci, and KA all likely ahead of him and only one of which likely to feature in a starting XI.

Is normal Azeri Turkish not really similar at all to Turkish spoken in Turkey? If an Azeri person hasn't had any contact with Turkish spoken outside of Iran can they understand maybe only half of what the other person says?
