Can someone please talk about Ali Karimi's game? Haven't seen much of him to judge.

He is very calm/composed on the ball sometimes too calm which makes him easy to dispossess at times. Likes to play long balls and switch flanks. He is a very good passer and playmaker in general but somewhat slow. Very talented tho

BTW, Dinamo have their Champions League qualifying game vs. FK Vardar on July 12. Doubt Karimi would get time, he needs to be more acclimated, but if they blow them out, he may get time.

I remember watching him play with with the u23 team during the Afc cup earlier this year. He was great and he scored in our loss against Qatar. Check out this clip of the goal.

Also, when I first saw news of this transfer I was hopeful but thought it would be a rumor but I am so happy it went through. Definitely one of our best transfers in a while and our midfield is going to be great.

Is he TM material in your opinion?

He is very talented, ofc he is TM material if he is given the chance, the couple of call-ups CQ gave him should prove that. Too bad he is a bit slow to be a CAM/10 otherwise we could've easily had him play there as well, I think we should definitely test Shojaeian in that role.

The only issue is that AK and Ezzatollahi are basically the same types of players or pretty similar, which makes it quite hard to think that CQ will put them both in the starting 11 like most people here say, it might very well slow down our tempo so I don't think it will happen. But who knows he is capable of benching Ezzatollahi We'll see how he develops
