well he certainly is on the right path towards it..!!
i still havent seen him play enough to judge his full potential but on that little cameo he had for Dinamo's first team off the bench he looked confident and comfortable enough on the ball to show excellent potential for proper growth...!!

as others mentioned, with DZ qualifying for CL groups and loosing some of their top talents to transfer market, the chances of him getting more frequent league minutes increases greatly and hopefully he even manages to make the bench in a UCL game or two..!!?

lool....!! let me guess, you dont like this team very much ?? do you ?

i ran across the highlights of their last qualifier vs DZ and must say that Dinamo should count their lucky stars..!!
Red Bull seemed to be all over Dinamo like a cheap suit and pissed away no less than a handful of sitters to go ahead 2-0 and ice the game and off course they were rightfully punished for it at the end..!! i guess its typical of a team that all so often chokes at the last stage.. !! lmao...!!:

    PS
i recall Red Bull tried mightily to attain AK8's services after he was let go from Bayern M...! sadly, Ali was like fk that, if i'm gonna be demoted so far, i'd rather go to Gutter and make 5 times the money for it..!!?

They are Austria's most hated team, because they are based on money, no passion, no fans.

Everyone is happy they lost well expext the owner of Red Bull and the team itself

        UCL Group H

        Juventus (ITA)
        Sevilla (ESP)
        Lyon (FRA)
        Dinamo Zagreb (CRO)

Karimi will have a tough time out there, but hopefully he gets to start some games and get great experience against some top teams.

BTW, it seemed like Ali Karimi was the first to break the news that his teammate, Eduardo Carvalho was signing with Chelsea FC lol

Nah some Iranian also mentioned this on twitter and it was false news.

"Crosport" replied: "Dinamo Zagreb's manager Zlatko Kranjcar admitted Eduardo to Chelsea last week"

Thanks for correction. Wasn't sure, so I used the word "seemed." Either way, good to know he is acclimating himself.

Even getting 2 minutes of playing time for Ali in the UCL would be a great experience.

He's young, he's talented, and has a long road ahead of him.

                The future looks bright boys!

can anyone break down how many CM's Dinamo got currently ahead of him and who amongst them likely to leave by transfer deadline..?

chelsea signed him as third choice GK lol. He was backup for dinamo apparently. Classic Chelsea, why spend money on a third choice GK? Why not just promote a youth team player if more cover is needed. smh

He is their no1 keeper and second choice of goal keeping in Portuguese team during Euro.

I do not know if you guys have already picked this up, but I am pretty certain that Ali was not eligible to play these last UCL qualification games for Dinamo. You register a certain number of players for the qualifiers/each round of qualifiers and as far as I know Ali had not received his ITC when the registrations for the UCL qualifiers were made.

So the fact that he was not in the squad for any of the qualifying games should not say anything about the likelihood of him feature in any UCL games this season.

I learned from Football Manager that teams can add new players after the CL qualifications. It makes sense because it's still August so teams purchase and sell a lot of players during this time.

Yes, of course. I was just trying to explain that we should not draw any conclusions about his role in the teambased on the fact that he was not in the squad for the CL qualifiers.

Guys, two wrongs don't make a right.

                                1. When referring to the club, its proper name is Dinamo. Zagreb is the city, yes, but not used alone when referring to the club. Dinamo Zagreb if fine though.

                                2. Dinamo. Not Dynamo.

                                Just informing you, that's all.
