Samizadeh helped Bolton u23 secure a point against Crewe Alexandra. Alex was subbed into the game and scored the equalising goal to make it 2:2.
"YOUNGSTERS George Newell and Alex Samizadeh were on the scoresheet as Wanderers Under-23s’ development side drew 2-2 at Crewe Alexandra today.
But the lead was short-lived as Whites substitute Samizadeh fired home four minutes later after a mistake by Crewe stopper David Richards to seal a point."
Easier said than done when Maman joon is making you chelo kabab or ghormeh sabzi every night
Good point. I've actually always said this about Iranian athletes. The issue we have with our homemade foods are we literally load everything with carbs like rice, bread and pasta, then we eat a ton of protein with it which means we exceed our recommended daily amounts with one meal. To be fair, it tastes absolutely fantastic, so personally I don't care, but for athletes, they need to brush up on their nutrition.

I have seen the amount of butter they put on the rice when I worked at a Persian restaurant, it was jaw dropping.
Samizadeh features for Bolton's U-23 squad, in their 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.
"To their credit, Bolton continued to create chances, both Samizadeh and Perry had their goalbound shots blocked in quick succession".
"Samizadeh continued to work hard up front, pestering Liverpool keeper Kelleher into a succession of hashed clearances, however, Wanderers failed to capitalise on them".
Alex scored Bolton u18's first goal in their 2:3 loss against Sheffield United U18:
"An early chance saw Alex Samizadeh fire wide after a neat pass from Jack Earing but the young Whites did not have long to wait to break the deadlock.
And it was Samizadeh who slotted home after a good run and cross from Ryan White."

On a side note, if it weren't for that chelo kabab and ghormeh sabzi i dont think id be benching 315 lbs lol.
Honestly Iranian food is great for body building, most if not all of our meals are natural and have a good mix of nutrients. And if you give 150% the gains will come, just wear your deodorant so you don't scare the ladies away with your gross ass ghromeh sabzi pits lol.

Seems like he scores in almost every game, albeit while in the U-18/U-23 squads. What does he have to do to earn a first team performance, even as a sub! Maybe he should move to a lower level League 1 team where he's guaranteed first team minutes, and impress so he can potentially get a Championship or even a lower tier PL offer.

Yeah you're right Iranian food is great for body building and putting on muscle however that amount of carbs isn't beneficial for a footballer who is more likely to need fats which are the necessary energy source for endurance athletes, that's why a lot of people are eating avocados because of the high fat content
One of those 'prospects'. You know - the Snorrason type. The Bolton Wanderers youth prospect who seemingly has it all, but who never seems to quite make it.
Call him small, call him raw and call him untested - but what you can't do is ignore him.
The goals continue to flow at an impressive rate.
In the flesh he's an unconvincing type. He is small. He does go to ground a bit easy and he doesn't have the greatest workrate in the world.
But.
He scores goals. Whilst he has made his first team debut (in a work permit / contract clause bit of tomfoolery), he has been conspicuous by his absence ever since.
Yet the goals keep coming.
Obviously the signing of Adam Le Fondre creates another barrier to his continued development - but other than ALF, who do we have?
Jamie Proctor has dropped down to League Two, and Gary Madine is in a run of two goals in 25 games. Emile Heskey-esque.
We've heard it said that the Andersons and Phil Parkinson think that Samizadeh isn't ready. That may well be the report card against his name, but can we continue to act all superior and all high and mighty?
I think the time has arrived where Parkinson needs to push him. See what he can do. It might not work - but it's better to have loved and lost, than never have loved at all.
