Fenerbahce and Celtic monitoring Alireza:
"Two right open to Fenerbahçe
In Fenerbahçe, Administrative Manager Hasan Çetinkaya, Jean-Paul Boëtius and Alireza Jahanbakhsh took their names to the agenda."

"Prolific Eredivisie winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh is worth another approach from Celtic
Celtic were reportedly interested in Alireza Jahanbakhsh in 2015 - and after a thrilling season with AZ Alkmaar he is ready for a big move.
The only people relieved that Celtic did not manage to lure Alireza Jahanbakhsh to Glasgow would have been the doting parents of young supporters. Imagine having to pay through the nose for that name on the back of your eight year old’s replica kit.
Yet, two years after The Scotsman claimed that Celtic were interested, the Iran international continues to go from strength to strength in Holland.
Back in 2015, Jahanbakhsh was in the midst of a prolific debut season with second division outfit NEC Nijmegen. He’s plying his trade in the top tier these days with AZ Alkmaar and, with seven goals and eight assists to his name, ranks as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Eredivisie.
In fact, few attackers in the Dutch top flight have been as consistent this season. His ability to burn past opposition full-backs and thump home the odd long-ranger, coupled with his commendable work ethic, means he is an automatic first pick for AZ boss John Van Den Brom.
The Scotsman claimed that Nijmegen would have accepted offers of around £1.5 million for their sprightly young winger in 2015. Though AZ would expect a lot more if they were to consider bids for Jahanbakhsh in the summer.
They drive a hard bargain as Tottenham, £18 million lighter after the signing of Vincent Janssen, will tell you, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Though with Celtic facing up to the loss of Manchester City loanee Patrick Roberts in the summer after 18 months of service, Brendan Rodgers is in need of options on the flank.
And the prospect of Jahanbakhsh working in tandem with Scott Sinclair, the top scorer in the Scottish Premiership, is enough to instil insomnia in any opposition manager."

Actually after the traditional top three in The Netherlands, teams like Vitesse, FC Utrecht, AZ and FC Twente (good days before financial problems, probaly coming back in that shape soon) are somewhat even.Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

Signing with Fener is technically an upgrade since Fener is a big club with more star players and they regularly play CL. I just don't think Jahanbakhsh would thrive in the Turkish League, it's rather a league for seasoned players who passed their prime. Also I think it does not lay in JB's interest to give up life in Western Europe to go to Turkey.

he is entering good form again. I expect to end with over 10 goals and 10 assists. He will get interest from the top three dutch teams no doubt, and I really believe some good options in bundesliga, maybe some lower level EPL teams. I think he will end up either in feyenoord or ajax, or bundesliga this summer. Dont see him staying at AZ

For instance bruma from galatasaray, aboubakar and talisca from besiktas are all garnering a lot of interest from europes top teams.

besides improving statistically this season, and becoming more aggressive and assertive ( he has always had excellent work ethic) I think his emergence in the CAM position has added to his value. Being able to play both wings, and as CAM is a big asset. Because of his excellent work ethic he can cover well defensively in the 10 position (kind of rare for 10's ) but also playing there can improve the way he sees the game, and definitely improve his overall play whether he is put in midfield, or on the wing. Plus since he has experience playing 10, its also very probable to see him being able to play a slightly deeper position on the right or left of the three Centre midfielders in a 4-3-3 formation.

He owes AZ nothing really. So I hope he takes an offer from a top 5 league.
