ARJ hasnt been that goos so far. Multiple giveaways, seems Twente are really aware of his shot, and get very tight whenever he cuts in near the box... 0-0 HT, hopefully he finds more space in the second half

they won 2-1. Two goals in the last ten minutes. ARJ played the full 90, but I dont think it was his best showing. He was marked tightly. Nevertheless important win.

The cup final is next week.

It could be another highlight in Alireza's career if they win the thing.

He has 1 championship in the 2nd league with NEC now.

Alireza talks about AZ's season so far:

""They appreciate, but the Dutch themselves are not"

Alireza Jahanbakhsh this season one of the trendsetters in AZ. However, the Iranian is not completely satisfied with the season his team.

"We will qualify for the playoffs for European football, but if you look at our team, I think we are this season have been enough. But if you win the cup, that is forgotten. This is how football" , Jahanbakhsh tells the VI . "If I'm honest, I expected more from us this year. I say often to my teammates."

"Apparently we are not able to play three games in a week, then you will have a mental problem because look around you:.. We have the best training facilities, everything is planned down to the last detail, the only thing that we as a group of players have to do is concentrate on football. has with technique or tactics that create nothing, but to here (pointing to his head, ed.). Mentality. "

Furthermore Jahanbakhsh tells himself that he is not a tough guy. " "In Iran you have respect for your fellow man, especially for the elderly this way I always have a good relationship with coaches, teammates and supporters My parents taught me an important lesson.. Imagine always modest I notice that she attitude. Netherlands appreciate, but what strikes me again is that Dutch themselves are not so modest. ""

Article mentions Alireza as a potential option for PSV:

"PSV closes on May 14 off a disappointing season. In the summer threatens a true idle and therefore there should be renovated in the Philips Stadium, such attacks. SoccerNews.nl put some interesting options for the left and right winger position by one.

            Alireza Jahanbakhsh
Unlike Larsson is the name of Jahanbakhsh but relatively rarely mentioned as a possible reinforcement for a Dutch club. The Iranian is perhaps less creative, but in terms of belief scored AZ'er in turn slightly higher. With eight goals and eight assists Jahanbakhsh is having a fine season in Alkmaar."

soccernews is NOT reliable source in The Netherlands
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

Jahanbakhsh has more potential than most of the players named on that list.

Gastón Pereiro is their 1st RW with 10 goals and 3 assists in 28 league games for PSV and he's 21 y/o.

Jahanbakhsh has 8 goals and 8 assists in 27 league games for AZ and he's 23 y/o.

I think PSV should buy Jahanbakhsh to let him battle it out with Pereiro to determine who will be PSV's main RW next season. In my opinion, they are more or less similar to each other in terms of quality.

Shout out to our MVP bijbij, who made it possible that we're going to the cup final together on Sunday to support our boy ARJ.

AZ, Terek and probably Rostov signed long term contracts with our legionaires and you guys can be sure that they will wait till after the WC in Russia to sell them at the best possible price. I think all our players (except Azmoun who should definitely move next transfer window) are fine where they are for now, especially Jahanbakhsh who still has a lot to learn with AZ.

With the build up to Sunday's KNVB Cup Final, former AZ and Vitesse player Ronald Spelbos comments on Alireza:

"Ronald Spelbos has a history with both AZ and Vitesse. Sunday the 62-year-old from Utrecht can watch one of his former employers taking up the KNVB Cup.

Spelbos expects an equal upward final. "But I like it in AZ. Because that team surely has a lot of scoring ability and maybe looks a little more stable. But again, I think it's very close to each other. It is difficult to estimate," he tells of ELF Voetbal .

He himself won the cup three times with AZ. He was part of a successful team, but he also likes to look at the current team. Alireza Jahanbakhsh for example. "If it is good to do, I think it's a very nice player. I'm happy to.""

                        As per Spanish source Vavel:

"AZ Alkmaar is distinguished by being a very strong block in which the players improve each other. Alireza Jahanbakhsh has eight goals and eight assists this season, the Iranian is a dangerous man when given space and can become the figure of his team in this final."
