he really needs to play outa his skin and have a standout performance in that fixture to make some splashes in the European scene and open the door for good next EU club move...!!
granted he first has to work on earning back his starting role in AZ front 3...! his last performance didnt do much on that front and im pretty sure he will be back on the bench for the next AZ Game..!! but he will have plenty of time before Lyon game to retain his starting role and all indications atm is that he will do just that much sooner..!

azmoun and even ezzat seem more ready for big teams than JB. That is fine though different players develop at different paces. Being at a solid, regular europa league side like AZ (who have an extremely professional and advanced environment, facilities, etc) is excellent. Also, despite the last three games, the coach seems to be on very good terms with him and trusts him a lot. He should wait until he develops enough for a legit good offer to come in. Henriksen for instance jumped ship/ had to leave for whatever reason this season and now plays for a shitty hull team, whos fans are boycotting the games, general bad atmosphere. He was one of the top players in AZ ad eridivisie when he was there. Better for JB to really get to a high level/outgrow the team than worry about making moves right now.
Their final game before three week winter break is away at Twente. If they win they will go into the break 5th place, not that far behind PSV and Herenveen in third and fourth. Lose and they may fall down to eighth. Given that AZ is traditionally much better after the break (last year they put together incredible win streak which them go from midtable to third), being fifth at christmas would actually be a very good sign.

Alireza may not feature in AZ's cup match tomorrow due to personal issues. He was also not present at today's training session:
"Van den Brom is in the duel with the amateur team from California do not have Haps and Wuytens. "They suffer from aches and can not play. We look after the weekend it further." Additionally Alireza Jahanbakhsh was not present at the traning. He is struggling with some personal matters and therefore appears not to be Wednesday."
