With the current Team and CQ i dont see any Team in the world that can easily beat us. No doubt top 10-15 Teams can do that...but they also should have their problems with us. On a good day TM can beat any Team in the World in Azadi right now. Team is solid like a rock since years now and CQ made them super confident. I wih Asian Cup would be in few weeks...TM would leave a Bloodfield no doubt!

We did, we beat them 1-0 in Azadi but lost 2-1 on aggregate cause they had won 2-0 in Dublin

We also beat Chile 2-0 days prior to this Sweden match. The same Chile went on and won Copa America less than a year later.

Good news

The next FIFA ranking is on July 6th and Iran will move up in the rankings to take 23rd place, ahead of Costa Rica, Turkey, Ireland, USA, Netherlands, Egypt, Ecuador and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We are currently ranked 30th, moving up 7 spots for the next ranking
