I think it's because Google translate messes them up when going from Greek to English.

In modern greek there is no equvalent for letter "D", instead they use a combination of "NT" to produse the sound D.

The classic greek D equivalent "Delta" has a more nasal intonation like "Dh", that's why Ansarifard is spelled Ansarifarnt or Masoud becomes Masount.

The also can't pronounce Sh, or Zh.

Shojaei just extended his TM career with this move, i always liked the guy, great person and decent player, despite all the bashes he got during years...When was last time he played in local league? 10 years a go?

He is a good player, but at times appears lethargic. I really hope this move gets him in good shape and pushes him to higher capabilities. During the last friendly game he showed that at his age he can be very effective.

I am not very happy with this potential move. I would prefer Hajisafi or a younger IPL players there. And ironically, Masoud have been the best in TM when he was playing in Qatar..
