Good 3 points for malavan, they need to be consistent all season long if they want to be back in the PGL where they belong. They have a very good quality side for an azadegan side they should win a lot of games this year.

I'm excited about Sepidroud Rasht. One of the very few clubs in Iran with a proper name, Crest, history, fanbase and tradition.
Hope they make it to PGL in near future, and establish themselves there.

Gol Gohar and Oxin Alborz continue to be the two suprises of this season. Don't know a lot about Oxin, but Gol Gohar is a very pure club in a small town, they have their own private facilities, own 2,000 seat stadium and a great youth academy, the majority of their squad is from their academy I believe.

Also some positive news about this season, I have seen some changes from previous season:

The quality of play and the refereeing seems to have improved.

The league seems to be more organized.

Coverage and infrastructure is also slightly better

Sepidrood has the best fan base in north of Iran, Rasht deserves to have a team in IPL, they beat esteghlal ahvaz 1-0 today in ahvaz

Only 2 teams will promote, also Alborz has no fanbase, Saipa failed there and Oxin will also fail. I wish that Nassaji and Sepidrood promote, 2 big shomali teams with great history who have been neglected so long.
