Alongside with Esteghlal Kh championship last season, the story of Sepidrood is the biggest miracle in Iranian football history.
A newly promoted team with very limited ressources promoting again to the top flight, for the first time in their history, being able to celebrate the 50th birthday of their club on the highest possible level.
That TV expert Mr. Khabas said it right: lets all just be happy for 48 hours, and then get to work again.
Btw what a great personality Hossein Kaebi has become!
Being the silent leader of his team, contributing his skills and experienced most possible, being at control at all times and always behaving perfectly torwards the fans, the ref and each and everything.

What has to be done now:
1) Rasht municipality has to do its part and fix its stadium up. They take rent for the stadium and are interested in it being in use. This comes with obligations of keeping up with the standards.
-Put a high quality natural grass pitch
-Might be too much expected, but also install a grass heating while your are at it, in order to keep the stadium operational during winter snowfall. And start right away! You dont want to create another fiasco like in Tabriz.
-There is no stand on the left side of the stadium. Put a provisory stand there, right at the field. Otherwise the stadium capacity is too little and the space around the stadium is too little, so that it creates safety issues.
I'm not sure whether there are good enough contractors for this in Iran, but in that case get a foreign one. It's not that expensive.

-Buy up that semi-finished building on the left side of the stadium and tear it down! My stomach turned when I saw how people were packed in that structure. Also you can use the space around the stadium.
2) Sepidrood management has to start aquiring as many sponsors as possible asap. They barely got enough sponsors to stay afloat in Azadegan, and they now need a lot more money to make necessary investments. And the sponsors you saw in the stadium were like two tyre-dealers and the rest were restaurants and some stores. They can do better!
I'm talking Caspian sea oil and trade companies, fishing companies and virtually all the biggest comapnies of northern Iran.
The companies on the other side have to show that they are interested in their customers and get behind the club, channeling their current advertising efforts via this sports club. Currently there is no better platform for advertizing in the entire caspian sea region of Iran!
3) This seasons squad are a bunch of heros forever, but they surely will understand that the roster needs to be improved a lot in order to stay in the league (This is also in the interest of the current players as playing in PGL ensures a much improved salary for them). But how do you improve your team with no money?
a) You sign the best players of Azadegan league for cheap money. Those who are too good for that league. I'm thinking about players like Abbasfard or Ghaedi. You know those players better, you played them.
b) You sign international youth players for cheap money and salaries, and offer them playing time in return. I'm thinking of players like Shekari, Soltanimehr, Sharifi etc. These players would have loved to be given playing time this season, and they are definitely good enough already to have made a major contribution.
c) You throw in your own youth players. Watch Esteghlal in PGL or IranJavan in Azadegan this season. Not only they saved money this way, those young players made them way stronger than before. Both teams were among the best teams in the second halves of the season in their respective leagues. Even in Iran the youth academies have improved largely compared to 10 years ago, so that your current U19 players might be already better than your established players.

Rasht and Bandar Anzali are the cities most deserved for new and modern stadiums. I do not understand the IFF logic when it comes to building new stadiums in cities where their respective fans barely fill 10%-20% of the stadium, they should have prioritized Rasht and Anzali to have these new stadiums. These 2 cities for sure after Tehran giants have one of the most loyal and hardcore fans in the country, yet the worst stadiums for their football teams. Yeah as an Azari I do not recognize TS fans as loyal and hardcore, as it seems many of them their main agenda is non-football related BS.
Imagine Malavan making it to PGPL along with Sepidrood. Their Derbies would have been almost as intense and exciting as Tehran giants! Malavan vs. Sepidrood battles profoundly beyond malavan vs. Damash intensity and rivalry. It's a shame Malavan barely missed the chance!
This is an insane support and unconditional fan support:

However you make a very good point, these two cities deserve a proper stadium, or at least deserve a major renovation of current stadiums.

So how does promotion work in Azadegan again? If I'm not mistaken 3rd and 4th place have a play off for the final spot, right? It'll be a huge shame if Malavan doesn't make a return they're far too big of a club to be in azadeganTeam Meli Iran
Perspolis FC
Malavan Bandar Anzali
