What actually happened at the end?

Qatari goalie messed up. Defender passed back to him, Ansarifard and Gucci rushed him. Qatari goali kicked the ball straight at Ansarifard, ball bounced off his chest and in the process got to Gucci. Gucci shot the ball and scored. Qatari players started making a scene saying Ansarifard stopped the ball with his hand/arm. A small "fight" broke out and bench players came on the field. Game resumed after some time, more time got added to the wasted time and Yahanbax ended up scoring a second goal.

For those of you (not to be named) who ridiculed Ansarifard for missing the header, which he was clearly being pulled back from behind by Qattari player, owe him a big apology because he saved our asses today. He fought for the ball, played it so calm and delivered a beauty to Reza. And credit to Reza for his outstanding finish. Actually they should both be credited equally for that play.

I think Neku unknowingly, uncontrollably and unwittingly switched his coaching shoes back to player's. What was he doing in the middle of the pitch celebrating with the players!! he gave qataries what they wanted in trying to disrupt the game and possibly force an abondment!

We have to wait and see what happens with Fifa and afc, Iran should difinitely report the ref for not being able to control the game. This game were a head and shoulder above his ability!

Those so called "Karshenasan" that have already started criticizing TM performance should be reminded that this team has not have had the prevailage of playing in competitive prep games like the likes of Qatar has had and by playing together in Qualifiers and hopefully in better friendlies will go from strength to strength.

It is a sign of a great team and its coach that even when they don't play well and we could easily criticize certain of its players, they get the result that better teams that play very well do not!

This win was one of the sweetest TM wins in a very long time, seriously it was an amazing feeling. 6 minutes of stoppage time, and baammmmmmm TM scores 2 super crucial goals within the stoppage time.

When the fight broke out, I got a heartattack, thinking the ref must have disallowed the goal, because the TV focused on Gucci and Ansarifard's after their celebration, and how dumbfounded they looked, as if the red called off the goal. Man what an amazing twist at the end of the match it was, who would have thought TM will score not just a goal, but 2 goals in the stoppage time?

Gucci once again came to our rescue during yet another WCQ adventure, this time his goal came even more precious as he came on around 76' and the assist came from Ansarifard who came in towards the end of the game.

You could tell this was a hard victory. Qatar look very, very good. They are totally in sync because of the many friendlies they had before this game (while our friendlies happen to be the actualy WCQ games! ) and do not be confused, they are increasing in strength. I'd put them over a lot of other Asian teams left in World Cup qualifiers. Their players are very good and their coach had the right game plan. Plus, Souria is a good striker who always looks dangerous.
