Paraguay is no pushover and we will have to face Spain or Russia if we beat them.

watched the whole game. Iran stepped it up and was playing incredibly for most of first half and end of second half. With backs against the wall they produced. Keshavarz with a lovely chip and his experience was key throughout on the bench as well. Samimi had an incredible game. Overall we rode our luck at times but created so many chances in the the first half that we didnt deserve to lose. Although I would say at times our rotational movement is tooslow and players get stuck on the ball, turnover in very dangerous position which led to two of brazils goals. Hats off to the boys. Anything is possible!

I still can't believe Iran just came back into the tournament again. I was pretty much convinced that this was going to be an early exit and this would be the last day we would be commenting on this thread. But WOW this must be the finest hour Iran's futsal has produced in a long long time.

Now TM must pace forward confident and focused. Paraguay defeated hosts Colombia, albeit on penalties, just like us. That means the match can be considered 50/50 between Iran and Paraguay even though Iran is supposed to be the favorite in the upcoming match.

But Iran won't win unless they give their absolute best. Only then will they deserve the place in the semi finals. After 24 years.

Also, the victory against Brazil wasn't luck. It was a showcase of Iran's true potential when they truly believe in themselves. This is the real TM Futsal.
