lol I always shit on the IPL but you guys know I only do it because I want IPL to succeed. I just don't like how some of our fans are blind to the fact that the IPL is a poorly funded league that needs more Khareji talent to blend in with our homegrown Iranian talent. IPL doesn't have a talent problem, they just need to find a way to advertise our talents… Find a way to get better Brazilian players, better Ukrainian players, better Croatian players.. Etc.

Our league does not suffer because we lack khareji players. Our leagues suffers because of the lack of proper infrastructure. Also if each team had a world class manager, I assure you our league would be competing with higher leagues.

EDIT: Should've known a bunch of villagers like Tehranto would misinterpret this. A lot of people are criticizing Reza Karimi for this move, I'm just saying given his age it's a good start. Samizadeh is playing for far worse but no one says anything so no reason for Reza to be beaked given they're the same age. Good luck to both, we can use strikers like them in the future if they work out.

Oh and also, if you honestly think garbage IPL is better than the Albanian League then please leave PFDC and never come back. Albania has improved a lot in recent years, I saw them play a little in Europe and they know how to play football. Iran would be lucky to draw against them especially with how they pass the ball around. 3 points in 3 games isn't too bad in the Euros.

FYI, Samizadeh is still signed to Bolton. He just turned 18 and was sent down on short assignment to get experience vs. senior teams. Don't denigrate the long-term thinking with him.

hes young and his team is actually decent and usually participates in euro competition. Who knows he could be picked up by bigger eastern european league, croatia or russia or something if he plays well enough.
