Looks like ironically despite all these controversies and him being a free agent, Rezaeian has been one of the players that looked the best in the Italy camp

This Khabar Varzeshi newspaper claims that Beiranvand became TM's starting GK

Main reason that made Rezaeian a TM player is his level of fitness and stamina. His defensive game as right back is not that good but in today's football you need right backs who can constantly push attack(as well as defending well).

Khabar varzeshi used to be the most BS newspaper out of all our BS media in Iran some years ago. There wasn't even one single news in that newspaper that you could trust! I don't know how they are now.

Rezaian is like an extra forward when we have a corner. He isnt the best at defending though. His speed will help against Qatars left side which is very fast.

CQ said that Heydari is a player that is still in his plans and his experience is valuable

what strikes me is that we dont have a playmaker, a real 10!

I really like this new invite, Dariush Shojaeian.. he has mad skills that we desperately need in TM and he performs great tunnels and fast runs that could kill any opponents' confidence and morality and ridicule them on the pitch. Hope he makes the final list and play against Gutter and does a few of those LAYEE. we need some new players like him that can play smart transitions and moves. Watch the below video and see what I mean:

Our tactic against Qatar last time was solely Heydari crossing every time. Hopefully we have evolved.

He's a better version of Jabbari-e-Qatari with more technique and power, I've watched him closely since his first TM call up back in March and he's been very consistent and impressive and did well against Macedonia. I have a feeling he will be a big part of CQs future plans, his style fits his system and his versatility to play as either a DM or CAM will be exploited by TM coaching staff. Only reason I'm not complaining too much about the exclusion of Soroush is bc we have this guy.....hope to see him play vs Qatar too!

It is funny Kamran posted this video as i was about to post something about Shojaeian.
I totally agree, CQ praised Shojaeian few times lately and i won't be surprised if he starts next to Saeid in midfielder. The guy can read the game, run as much as ando and press well. He can be very much the surprise in line up.

No doubt that this Shojaeian guy is pretty good, and it surprises me I havent heard of him before and he isn't playing in Europe, but all these nice dribbles are not always very effective.

I remember that Masoud Shojaei schooled the entire Korean team on his own, but wasted so many chances during the game in 2009 @ Azadi.

He can dazzle the opponent, but in most cases with these type of players it is much technique and dribbling skills but no valuable contribution to the team. I hope it's different with this player.

He has been around for quite some time, was part of last 2-3 camps.

Except Shojaei was our best player during that time period.
