Once again take this with a dump truck full of salt.

The article says that the hold up for the contract between IFF and Adidas has mainly been due to the cheetah print and issues with licensing it for sale in various countries.
Maybe them wearing plain tees means they are close to signing the contract.
The article doesn't have a lot of detail so who knows.

Adidas will release home jersey of WC participants on the 6th November 2017 and the away on the 12th march 2018. I guess it will only be Germany, Spain, Mexico, Argentina and other big ones.
No need to prostitute ourselves for Adidas, they won't consider us. Plus their recent jerseys are nothing special. Stick to a domestic brand, that will do a customized design for us.
And about quality, if TM need to wear adidas or nike to be able to make a successful pass or a shoot on target, they should change sport.

We had that shit show from uhsport at the last world cup with stickers and replica jerseys and then we had and still are dealing with the BS with Givova.
At this point it's simply down to the management being incompetent and at fault for failing to get us a deal. FFS we even had Puma back in 98.

If the producer is domestic, we won't see rift like the low number of jersey or else like 4 years ago. Don't forget puma shame during last euro and the famous switzerland jersey.
The problem is that international brands aren't interested by Iran (I guess it has to do with the copyright thing), so IFF is in a very bad position to negociate anything with them (design, $$, etc..).
