Guys, after reading an article in a German newspaper I have more hopes for our World cup shirt.
There they presented the new numbers and writings for the Adidas Shirts. The Adidas Spokesman Oliver Brüggen has been quoted:
"The inspiration for the typography was Cubist blocks of flats, seen from a bird's eye view. The design is very reduced - this results in similar but always different shapes."
And now the most important point:
"The font was developed especially for the World Cup jerseys of our teams and coordinated with all associations (12) and FIFA."
Sorry for the bad translation. I translated from German to English.
