Here are some things the bigots on this forum should think about before posting racist bullshit on here:
    - Qatar has spent millions of dollars on facilities, stadia, hotels, and footballing infrastructure that's good for the game. What has Iran done in the last 40 years? In fact, name one international caliber stadium that was built in the last 10 years.
    - Qatar naturalizes foreign-born players because it has a population of 300,000 people and no real home-grown talent. It has one of the world's biggest youth academy systems and is training talents from all over the world on a full scholarship system. Young children in our so-called football academies get sexually harassed and raped by their coaches. Name one single national-level youth academy that has raised a football player in Iran. Yeah, didn't think so.
    - Qatar employs hundreds of foreigners including Iranian coaches in its football system. It brings top talent scouts, coaches, and football educators to cultivate a football culture that, for whatever reason, it hasn't had until now. When was the last time a top football personality came to Iran? Scratch that--can you think of the last time one of our coaches actually wanted to learn anything new?
    - Qatar was a no-name minion in 1996. Today, it is a future host of the World Cup, has a strong domestic league, and a football system. What have we got?
You can say all you want about their naturalized players but don't talk shit about what they have done for their football. They are miles ahead of us in terms of professionalization, infrastructure, and respecting the game. Because that's what it is about--respect. And, I must say, they do a hell of a better job respecting the integrity of the game than we have in the last 40 years.
they are miles ahead of us in nothing except having money. Sorry, that we dont bring in brazilians or have state of the art facilities and the best friendlies and attract all the old dying players to our league. Our country has been under cruel sanctions for 40 years simply for standing up to the arrogant powers of the world, we havent had money. Sorry if that means we werent able to meet your definition of "doing something", And still we our one the major powerhouses in asian football. Qatar symbolize all that is wrong with modern day football, no soul-just money-and lots of it. They don't deserve any respect.

Integrity and Qatar go together like oil and water.
The country that bribes, alters names, DOBs, and who knows what else just to say they won something is the farthest from integrity.
I have nothing against Qatari people, but even surely they can see how dumb this system is.

That doesn't hide the fact that what CQ, Nekounam, Azmoun did or said was totally stupid and shame. On top of that bitching at referee on every single occasion, isn't a Déja-Vu for many of us?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Fair enough--some good points being made but let's separate fact from fiction and take a good look in the mirror before we accuse others of doing the wrong thing.

Qatar's foreign import system is messed up but that doesn't negate what they're doing in terms of infrastructure. Also, they bribe and grass-roll but, ffs, look at the IPL. Rampant bribing, referees getting banned for match-fixing, all kinds of scandals on a weekly basis, and rampant grass-rolling.

Hell, we grass-roll whenever we're playing a tough team. Just look at the Argentina and South Korea games from the last few years where we kill time in a very similar fashion.

In any case, good win tonight. Let's hope for a better performance against China.

We need to calm down. Remember when we beat Uzbekistan in the first game last time in the 94th min and played awful then followed it by a horrible 0-0 draw to Qatar. I think we just need to calm down and let CQ handle this. Our players are younger and need to create chemistry so this was a good wake up call going forward. We should be better in future games.

I wonder if CQ will go with Pejman and Jalal till the WC 2018.

If so, they will be 37 and 38, respectively.

No, Hosseini will be 36 and Montazeri will be 34 in summer 2018. If they keep playing at this level, why not. They were absolutely flawless today and have no signs of slowing down.

Montazeri is 32 now... So he would be 34. Jalal is 34 so he would be 36.

34 and 36 are not uncommon ages for CB's.
If we play Mohammadi and ghafouri we should have enough pace as a backup.

I think S.A. has a lot of growing up to do.Out of all the Arab country Qatar/UAE I think play football a little bit better then the rest. You don't need to feed any team any fuel for the next meeting. If this guy really wants to play for bigger clubs he needs to watch some interviews done by professionals. And not to speak to reports like they are your buddies.Qatar is going to go after him.I am sure qatari's already have heard his comments fully by now.

Do you think Gucci was offsides on the first goal?

It seems that Ansarifard was in an OK position, as it was an defensive accident, but then what about Guccii. He appears offsides when Ansarifard gets the ball, then comes onsides.
Even if he was in offside-position, it is not relevant since the 'pass' was from a Qatari United Nations Defender.
