Yeah, I noticed that too! I hope that's where he's gonna be!
I hope HajiSafi is going to play as LW for us and not in LB. He was great today and we definitely need his long shots against Uzbekistan. Hajisafi is awesome in LW.

He picked an untrained, ill-prepared and unsuitable BUT EXTREMELY FAN-POPULAR player to get that pressure off him. And voila! Suddenly in the eyes of immature iranian fans, he became a savior and grand master and whatnot. Never bothering to see just what an unsuitable appointment this was.
CQ, the ever cunning and sly politician and populist.

Back then when he didn't invite Rahmati and Aghili despite our situation his credibility was at stake. It was either do or die, so he didn't care about popularity because it couldn't save him.

The only reason CQ brought Ali Karimi was because IFF pressured him to have a young iranian coach by his side and he wanted to give that shot to Ali Karimi who CQ had so much respect for him and thought it would be a good opportunity for him to learn everything from him from the beginning.

Mahdavikia and Hashemian would have been a better choice but CQ didn't know them personally so he was much more comfortable giving the job to someone he knew. It's the same exact concept with hiring. I would prefer to hire someone that I know that someone that I don't.

Mohammad Reza Saket: "At the game against Korea, we will make Azadi into Hussainia."
As you know the game against Korea will be held on Tasu'a. Make yourselves ready for another mixing of sports and religion.
