The issue there was the the UAE rulers didn't want Iran playing in Dubai in the first place. We were unwanted guests. Of course our idiot federation will continue to visit there and give them money.

They train at the Iranian club in Dubai, which is owned by the Iranian government.
If they wanted to use a proper football stadium in Dubai, which are UAE owned, for a match then they'd need permission.

As with the MoU's, I personally feel like countries just dish them out to Iran like baghali and they don't really mean much.

With regard to the Persep players being invited, this was going to happen, only because, CQ is a highly sensitive, emotional and egoistic person, but a highly talented tactical genius as well so this makes him a lethal combination to deal with, one thing is for certain, that a narcissistic person like him will never abandon TM when its 'Savar' on the group and on the verge of qualifying for the prestigious World Cup in Russia! he needs those players
He knows how much this will enhance his status as world class coach and therefore give him a stronger negotiating position post TM ! and to be honest he was really a forgotten person before joining TM, he wasn't really successful with either Portugal or South Africa at the World Cup, only when he started managing TM and getting good results and qualifying to the WC in Brazil did his stock rise and people and federations began noticing him, Not to mention that he wasn't a tactical genius before but his 'marriage' to TM was a successful one as TM gave him the ability to do very well, something he couldn't do with either UAE, South Africa nor Portugal. He knows this and will NOT abandon TM before Russia!

None of the players who played in the WC 2014 and also could be invited for the next one ever have had "hashiyeh" as the article claims.

The only one I can imagine who is based in Germany is Dejagah! Otherwise, Teymourian, Gucci, Jahanbakhsh, Hosseini, Montazeri, Haghighi, Shojaei and Haji Safi are the only ones who are eligible and none of them have ever been into hashiyeh.
