The fact that people think he played poorly angers me, I will make a video of his performance against Qatar soon and post it here.

He was average at best (most people gave him a 5 on the rating thread) but definitely not the worse on the pitch. If you think that a video of his performance vs Qatar is necessary, go ahead, but please don't forget to include his unnecessary dribbles, bad passes as well...

Im interested as to why people think he's unfit. Every game he plays for TM he's hustling for the ball and putting in effort, so why do you say that? If it's because you see him standing around sometimes, that's because he has been playing in a CAM role for us for a while meaning he's in the center and COULD be defending every ball, but that wouldn't be beneficial because he would constantly be out of position.

Because he rarely lasts 90 minutes and by the 60th he's dead. He was the same at fulham.

If you make a video of only his good moves in the game, the video wont be stating the truth! You rather need to count his many mistakes and slow game.

Hes getting very old and very fast, he seems to be in his comfort zone especially after going to Qatar. I personally like him as he's a beast if he wants to be, he is definitely a very powerful player but hes letting it go....

With all due respects for his past contributions to TM I believe he should step down now. He doesn't have the quality and stamina he had before. Our current talented players such as Torabi or Milad are being sacrificed for Ashkan. This is the time for them to get experience needed for world cup 2018 (which we hopefully will qualify for). I hope CQ doesn't waste this great opportunity available for our new talents to capitalize on players who most likely won't be in 2018 squad. This goes beyond Ashkan and will include Shojaei, Hosseini, and Montazeri as well.

I was talking to my friend who isn't Iranian and he doesn't know the players too well. He said Dejagah was Iran's best player and that we are being too hard on him.

Can you see the difference now? compare his efforts with our last match with Qatar. You will see the evident difference.

I can see the difference now but what he lost in skills he gained in experience and is a crucial player for us week in and week out

I defy you to find a player who is as active as Dejagah in those 60 min...Ando might be the closest. Of course he is going to burn out...it was the same at Fulham for him as well. He is constantly running, winning challenges, chasing the oposition down...faster and stronger than anyone else on the pitch.

Work rate is very High, He isnt going to score flashy goals but He is strong on the ball and doesnt get pushed around like (amiri) for example... Instead of pushing him out of TM we should be hoping that he can some how get back into his shape of 2012-2014 He was our 2nd best player in WC after Pooladi

Dont fall in love with these now guys too quickly... Yes Jahanbkash or Amiri are skilled but against big teams they would get shut down easily where as dejagah will help out defensivley and set up something offensively
