    Dejagah Appreciation Thread

As a critic, I'll admit that he did good today. But he can do way better, today he somewhat showed his true potential. Hope he can find a good club and get back in form.

Ironically he started playing well the day after he left Qatar

I just heard that Kieran Richardson who is Dejagah's former teammate at Fulham just signed with Cardiff City in the Championship.

If Ashkan returns to England, I wouldn't doubt him joining a Championship side. I really hope he doesn't do that, but it is possible.

I would say the ranking of likelihood of his next signing would be:

1: IPL Top Team like Perspolis.
        2: Mid/Lower-Table Bundesliga Team
        3: English Championship Team
4: Something else like Qatar or China. I don't see either of these as likely as all of these teams have seemingly filled their foreign player slots at the moment. They could always release someone to sign Dejagah, but I don't see that happening. Unlikely.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Dejagah holding up a Perspolis jersey in the next day or two as he is in Tehran post Korea match.

I have to be the party pooper here. Cashkan is one of the few TM players that has been kind of immune to critics, despite several poor performances he unfairly was NOT criticized as much as other players because some still believe and hope for him to be the that "Star" player coming from Bundesliga and EPL.... However the truth is ever since he sold himself to the arabs he has been a shadow of himself and his quality decreased day by day. Finally he had a fine game vs. Korea, but that was half of the REAL Dejagah, half of that what he could be...and it’s quite sad that people easy are satisfied by that. Sure, he still is a good player for Asia - not denying it - the point is he wasted a lot of potential all because of money - and then goes on in an interview and claims he does not care about money...this blatant lying and lack of dignity is what makes me dislike him.

So I have to disagree with the OP, actually Seyed got more credit than he really deserves! At least on this forum too many times they defended him, while other truly hardworking players were attacked instead. Maybe I am hating on him too much, but that was the dumbest transfer move ever and very disrespectful towards his fans - whom all were excited about him, supported and praised him like hell - waiting for him to be the only international knows star - yet he let down everyone, destroyed his career like that and lied to his own fans...kudos to Gucci who at least learned from his mistake.
