Yes and instead of coming back like he promised after the Asian Cup to serve it (play for a team like Teraktor etc.) - he didn't keep his word and didn't come back. Others like Sourosh Rafaei served their time playing for a military team. Pouladi lied to the government officials and didn't keep his end of the bargain. That's the problem. He would have served his time - it would have been done by now and he would still have a chance to play for TM.

I agree! I think it's stupid - and Pouladi should be accepted back into TM. He has real quality. I am just saying from standpoint of authorities. He will not be forgiven easily and will face some penalties. If he wants to, he should get in touch with them and figure something out. He made this very hard for himself. I think the system is stupid and agree that TM should be exempt from such things.

Sure but that still doesn't give him prison time! He might have to pay off some officials here and there and pay an amount of money as a penalty for what he did and that's it!
