This is my 2 cents- Even IF we lose tomorrows game , its not the end of the World!!! We can bounce back, we can win other games and reach Russia, LETS PRACTICE PATIENCE. This is a Marathon, NOT a sprint! Last time around, we lost TWO games, and still WON the group to qualify! So lets have patience, DONT bash CQ if we draw or lose, dont BASH our players, lets see how they do by the 8th game!

Hope CQ will make a couple of changes (I anticipate that he will) that are much needed, of course with Ashkan out there's already 1 sure replacement.
Damet garm for pointing this out.

It was almost as if they wanted the confirmation/reassurance that they are being recognized as worthy opponents.

I just downloaded the hola app and went to YouTube iran vs China live game - changed the flag on top to United Kingdom and now it says it will start in 7 hours. Very easy for those that live in us and want to watch that YouTube live stream.

This is going to be the second toughest away match (after SK of course) and it will be crucial. China is a very strong opponent and playing away in China is extremely difficult. We must avoid defeat in this game at all costs, a draw is not desired, but it will put us in a manageable situation. But, with SK next, we really need the 3 points today as insurance to what ever happens in that game.

You know it's gonna be a good day when a TM game is at prime time (9pm) in Australia[emoji1].

I'd say everything considered (meaning crowds, ref, travel, ...), our second toughest game would be in qatar, not china.
Way games to china and uzbeks are pretty much on par, followed by what SHOULD be the easiest away game vs. Syria.

                          Lineup is apparently:

                          -------------------Biranvand--------------------
                          Rezaeian-Pouraligangi-Montazeri-Mohammadi
                          --------------Andranik-Ezatollahi--------------
                          Jahanbakhsh------Shojaei---------------Amiri
                          --------------------Azmoun--------------------

He seemed gassed against Qatar. Montazeri took over as the last defender in that game, which is usually Hosseini's position. Sadly, I think that Hosseini's age is finally beginning to show.

Also, PAG played in China, and was teammates with a player or two in China's current team. CQ may be expecting him to know how the players play.

Not convinced by Rezaeian or Amiri. Mohammadi is a bold choice.

When will this be confirmed? Kick-off?
