I saw there was a Dejagah appreciation thread, if anyone deserves appreciation its Ando. He might not seem like the most clutch player due to his position but if you look closely he is one of the most influential team melli players. Not taking into account his defensive attributes, if you look at all the goals that we have scored thanks to his hustle and playmaking ability its insane. off the top of my head Iran vs Korea game where gucci scored it was ando who got the ball and passed it to gucci, in the Iran-Qatar game in the asian cup it was Ando who got the ball passed it to ashkan who assisted azmoun, there are probably a lot more examples. He is one player that will be very hard to replace, I hope he captains us in the WC in russia.

when in his usual peaked fitness and form, he has been certainly the Most Influential player in TM..!! My TM MVP for past few years, prior to his dip in form due to *** edited *** club signings..!!
i thought he had a pretty decent game vs gutter thursday, but not quiet the levels that im used to see from him..! my main qualm was that with Saied looking tired and not his usual quality, we badly lacked enough decent playmaking and not near enough service was provided to Azmoun..!
Btw, you can also add to your list the perfectly weighted and well placed pass he sent for Jahanbakhsh to rocket it in the goal with just one cut back ...!!

Ando is my favorite TM player and naturally I payed closer attention to him at the last game. And given the circumstances this was a world class performance by him.
Not only that he hustled so hard in defense as if he was not just returning from a major injury, he really came through in the offense.
Ezza (for some reason) didn't draw the game to himself, distributing the ball as much as he could have. And it seemed like Ando became aware of this and from the second half he took this one in his hands too, when the team needed it the most.
We are so lucky having him. Hope nothing happens to him until the wcComment

Im surprised also. After finishing watching the last match for the 3rd time, it is obvious that Ando needs more appreciation. His role is a ball winning midfielder and I don't know anyone better in TM history better than him. If you ask me, he does a lot more for the team on the field than Ashkan. After Gucci he is the next most clutch player we have in TM....his experience and quality is irreplaceable. The fact that some ppl didn't want him included in the starting XI is really shocking to me, he simply cannot be compared to anyone else I our current TM roster. His physical shape is much better than it was 5-6 months ago and he had a solid showing against Qatar.....hopefully he can stay fit because other than that, he is a pretty flawless DM.Team Meli Iran

Ando has indeed been involved with our goals directly or indirectly, with his great passes and/or ball winning ability! He was also our best player in the field against Qatar in a game where almost everyone else were playing badly!
He's indeed irreplaceable! He showed it back in the WC 2014 too!

His form went a bit up and down over the past year but he is by far one of my favorite players. He also has a magic touch in terms of clutch goals. He either gives the assist, or the pass before the assist when we need a goal the most. When he is fit his cardio is amazing and he never tires. He is also fierce and strong in tackles.
