2-1 for me. Azmoun and Gucci with a goal apiece, then China will get a bullsh*t penalty to make us sweat in the last 5-10 minutes, but we will manage to pull away and keep hold of our win. In any case, I think it'll be a close one!
China are the favorites here, especially since the game is in China and they have come off a tough loss. Iran is Jet Lagged and China is a force to be reckoned with, iran will have to be at there best to win
Since our team landed in China on Friday and the game is on Tuesday, therefore I highly doubt jet lag would be an issue, but I do agree that playing China in its home while they were defeated in heir opener WCQ match will not be an easy task, however I also reckon that the Chinese fans are not the most passionate and intimidating stadium fans, all they do is shouting randomly (like their North Korean neighbors).
Are most difficult remaining matches I believe will be as following in order:
1- S. Korea Away
2- South Korea Home
3- Uzbekistan Away
4- Qatar Away
5- Uzbekistan Home
6- Syria both legs, not easy, but lesser danger than the rest
Korea doesn't have the strongest of defenses, and I really think they stop taking that game seriously when they went up 3-0
One of China's goals was scored by a free kick and the other by a penalty. China seriously is not and will not be a pushover for any one of the teams of the group (not implying that you suggested as such)
I guess its going to be some goals, not just one or two, from both teams would say 3 or 4 or even 5......
It is up to you then to combinate these figures
i think its going to be close. apparently dejagah is going to make it for the match on tuesday but i think CQ might consider using him as a sub if he's still not 100%. but imo shojaei should get a place in the starting lineup since we need a creative player. its going to be a hard match like the rest but i think we will come out on top with 3 goals and 1 of those being a header from a set piece by one of our defenders.

South Korea and Qatar away will be our only difficult games. The rest we should win hands down if we want to take ourselves seriously in the World Cup.

A free kick, not a penalty....a beautifull one....

I did mention the free kick, however I mistook their first goal by a PK.
Anyway whoever taking this China lightly, is doing a huge mistake. I truly hope our team and the coaches won't make the same mistake.
The problem is that we often underestimate many of our opponents, for at times it backfires and punishes us. Remember last qualifier choking against Lebanon and losing that phony away match 1-0?
china definitely have speed so I really dont want to see hajsafi or ramin. MiMo an vouria are needed, as china will be dangerous and most likely target those wings.
