    TM main weakness is ...

set pieces. We used to be amazing with our set plays with mobali, kia, zandi. now our set pieces are horrible.
What do you think our main weakness is?

Our strength is team defending. Our team is one of the best in defending as a team in the world not just asia.

Cracking under mental and psychological pressure.

Dealing with penalty shootouts, Arab opponents, having a nervous approach, and performing in games that matter tremendously (Bosnia & Iraq).

Just not enough power behind the cross or corner. Every ball hits the first man and gets cleared out. They have to work on power.

Our set pieces is actually one of the greatest strength of our current TM but unfortunately in the last game against Qatar it was really bad. Ando needs to start taking the corner kicks himself. His crosses are way better than JB.

for long while Set pieces were about the only way we could score goals..!! but of late our set piece deliveries have left much to be desired..!

to me ATM our main weakness, is our Transition Play.! especially from D to Offense ..! it needs to become much faster, fluid and in sync for our Counter Attacking offense to become more productive..!!

For me its dribbling and getting past defenders… We need a playmaker

For me the most obvious is our conditioning (as a team)for 90 minutes which also reduces our effectiveness in transition play. I know we have a few players that are work horses and can run all day long, but as a team we need to get better. This is not a CQ problem but an issue at club level.
If we want to succeed in Russia, we must have a totally new system in our league for badansazi. Our goal should be to get out of our group stage and hopefully win a game or two beyond that. But we haven't been tested in a game with extra time for a long time. Correct me if I am wrong, but in the last five years, the only game we played for 120 minutes was against Iraq.

Their is a guy in the MLS many have discounted but he is a wonderful transition player on defence. His crosses are also not to shabby when he runs up. I really feel we can use Beita even as a sub for this purpose. He can speed us up from the back on counters particularly asince CQ is sticking to the 4-3-2-1. Too bad he is injured right now.

It's a playmaker. We have no real playmaker to feed the attackers. Ezatolahi, Ando are true DMF. Dejagah brings energy but isn't a playmaker. We are missing Shojaei, Karimi, Jabbari, Navidkia esque players who could consistently feed our forwards in a position to score from the MF

                            Rhythm, or lack thereof!
which is caused by lack of Friendlies.

In terms of players, a CAM who can control the flow of offense.
