Racism is horrible. No race is superior over another by mere virtue of being this skin color or that one. BUT systematic racism that leads to real conflict and results in the loss of life (i.e. Saddam/ Iraqi hatred for Iran leading to Iran-Iraq war) vs. us yelling on social media should never be equated.

For example, the racism I saw from some Iraqi Shites on social media just because the referee was Iranian for their Australia - Iraq match was incredible to see! People were literally condemning Iran and Iranians and blaming just how bad their team is on the Iranian referee. They were calling us the "enemy country" and saying "F*** Iran" were far too common-sight. Incredible considering we are saving their damn country from falling into the hands of Wahhabis.

I think Iranian racism in this case is reactive while Arab racism is proactive. This is different from the Iranian racism towards Afghanis is proactive, not reactive, for example.

If a welsh fan were to come support India against Britain and then be astonished that Indians were chanting "Screw the British!" it should not be on the Indians wholly. At least the British attempted to reconcile with India. The true "Arab" nations aka Persian Gulf Arabs and Saudi Arabia have been antagonizing and attempting to bring Iran down for generations.
If people sadly associated with Arabs like Iraqis, Egyptians, Algerians, etc. who were converted (conquered and beheaded into becoming "Arab") don't understand Iran's beef with these people, what can we say? They should learn about the lengths Arabs will go to just to spite Iranians. Think of Qatar purposely losing 5-1 to Uzbekistan to try to prevent Iran from advancing to Brazil.
Most Persian Gulf Arab teams would do the same. The fact that Persian Gulf Arabs and Saudi, who are the original Arabs have made a bad name for their conquered "brothers" should not reflect badly on Iran. Maybe go tell these nations to stop acting like jealous pr***s to Iran for everything we do, and we can start to stop saying "Screw Arabs" or whatever. It all starts with the big daddy Saudi, though. I can't respect any country or people who associate with that nation positively.
I hope that makes sense. This is a very politically charged post. It's as if to ask the Indian population to not be upset if the British were still antagonizing them to this day. You could forgive Indians for screaming profanities at the British in this case, even though Wales or Ireland may not have been involved in the conflict.
Still, people from these countries associated with the British or Arabs should understand where the resentment comes from. It's not like the opposite side will change if we start screaming "Yay, go Arabs!" They'd still cheat and disrespect us. Their problems with us is and always has been one of jealousy, and that cannot be mended with us avoiding chants in our stadiums.
Yes, there is a lot wrong with this world. We can't continue to accept it and roll with it. That is not how things improve.
How about we just keep politics and sports separate from one another? What good have racist chants and profanity ever done? Are we savages, do we have to stoop so low? How about we just focus on Football and football tactics only. We are not solving anything by grouping all Arabs together and insulting them as one. Just think about how ludicrous that sounds. We are all human beings. It's good to have pride and be a nationalist but at the end of the day we are all the Human race. A lot of issues in this world would be solved if everyone thought about it like that and if people put the past injustices committed/suffered by their ancestors aside for once instead of using that as an excuse to be hostile towards each other. It all has to stop at some point, wouldn't you think? It needs to start with us right here.

lol at members trying to justify being racists. Well at least one thing is for sure, realism seems to be the only real and accurate ideology after all these years seeing how when we dont have dictators controlling us we all go banans.

Saying it here doesn't solve the issue. Iranian menot inside iran between the age of 15-40 are so immature and this is due to our culture e and what's happened. Nothing can change this behaviour other then a culture cleaning which will take a minimum 100 years. Just look at how they behaved during game the Qatari national anthem. Also we have no real role modem to stand up and say what's better that we will listen to . Go na youtube and search
Buffon stops Italian fans from booing French national anthem

I would like to do real studies on the procentage of exile Iranians, and Iranians inside Iran and see whom actually hates arab the most. Got a feeling the ones outside Iran hate them on a major scale more than those who actually live there.

It's a YouTube stream that allows 100% anonymity. Go watch some of the other games tomorrow and you will see the same types of comments from trolls of every country of Asia. Stop trying to make racism an Iranian thing.

Regarding national anthems: This is not only happening in Iran. A lot of European fans are booing during national anthems. Especially in Eastern European countries.

When I was at the stadium to watch Austria - Bosnia, I remember that Bosnian away fans booed every single Austrian player, especially players of Bosnian/Serbian origin and threw firecrackers during the game. But to be honest, they made a much better atmosphere than Austrian fans lol.

Still doesn't justify what Iranian fans are doing.

There are some proper thick people in the world and unfortunately a healthy proportion of this forum is included in them. I don't know what's worse, the ones who simply post the hatred or the ones who try and rationalise it.

Racism in any form by anyone is unacceptable. We should start to correct ourselves before preaching others.

Another thing which I would like to see from our TM players is respecting their opponents. Play you own game and mind your own business. The more involved we get mentally with the Arab psychological warfare, the more we suffer. Also Carlos needs to control his nerves and his bench. If we claim to be No1 in Asia, we should lead by example.

Everyone here knows Racism is bad.
                            end of story.
Doesn't mean I can't say negative things about an Asian team without being called inconsiderate.

Arabs didn't existed back then..... 2000+ years ago there was only Persian Empire in the region, and small areas of Babylon and Mesopotamia.

Arabs are much younger than that. Unless one counts the Egyptians under Pharaos as Arabs....! And even if so, Persian Empire invaded Egypt during Achaeminid dynasty (Hakhamaneshian), which comes back again, that there was only Persian Empire and nothing else there 2000+ years ago.

And also, all countries in the middle east, except Iran (and Turkey, if you count them in the same region), have a history of less than 100 years! Saudis are 80 years old as a nation, others even less, and Bahrain the youngest. These countries came into existence as a result of an agreement between Britain, France, and to some extent Russians to draw random maps in middle east and develop countries. But on purpose they drew those maps as such to have always tensions within each country and keep a balance. As we know that was a fatal mistake, and that's why you have so many wars going on in Middle East, chiefly Israel vs Palestine.

But in short, no Arabs didn't existed 2000+ years ago!
