Arabs didn't existed back then..... 2000+ years ago there was only Persian Empire in the region, and small areas of Babylon and Mesopotamia.
Arabs are much younger than that. Unless one counts the Egyptians under Pharaos as Arabs....! And even if so, Persian Empire invaded Egypt during Achaeminid dynasty (Hakhamaneshian), which comes back again, that there was only Persian Empire and nothing else there 2000+ years ago.
And also, all countries in the middle east, except Iran (and Turkey, if you count them in the same region), have a history of less than 100 years! Saudis are 80 years old as a nation, others even less, and Bahrain the youngest. These countries came into existence as a result of an agreement between Britain, France, and to some extent Russians to draw random maps in middle east and develop countries. But on purpose they drew those maps as such to have always tensions within each country and keep a balance. As we know that was a fatal mistake, and that's why you have so many wars going on in Middle East, chiefly Israel vs Palestine.
But in short, no Arabs didn't existed 2000+ years ago!

Sure they did. They may not have been known as Saudis, Bahrainis, Qataris, Emiratis, etc. but the Arabs as a race have always existed in the region known as the Arabian Peninsula. They may not have been Muslims, but they were very much Arabs. One example are the Lazgi tribes, who were a tribe of Arabs who at first were opposed to the expansions of the Persian Empire but later became very useful allies to them. And I say this while excluding the Arabs of Iraq, the Mediterranean, and North Africa, as those are cultures that have become Arabized after the Arab invasions. But to say that these nations are less than 100 years old is like saying Iran is only a 100 years old because it was formerly known as Persia or that Italy has no history because it was formerly known as Rome..... If you want to count the first Arab Muslims as the first true Arabs, then even that was roughly 1,200 years ago starting with the rise of the Rashidun Caliphate. To say that Arabs only have a history of 100 years is absurd.....

Actually their is a considerable amount of Iranians in Iran (I want to say majority, but I am not sure) who are extremely racist towards Arabs. I have seen this behaviour in shops towards Iraqi immigrants and in football stadiums against Arab opponents.

Hey Guys, I hate these Qataris , saudis and grassrolling teams just as much as the next guy but do you realize how many Arabs I saw on the video stream in the Qatar game that came there to support Iran? and they ended up chanting fuck Iran because of our fans generalizing Arabs. There was a shia Iraqi whow as supporting us, a Christian Syrian and an Algerian guy who were suprised why iranian fans are insulting them when they came to cheer for us.

I'll quickly give my opinion. I was watching the game on the AFC youtube channel and I was shocked with all these f*** arabs comments. Do you guys realize that we have Iranian arabs within IRAN? How would an Iranian arab feel reading these from his own hamvatans? Then we are the first to criticize when we see separatists movements in Iran... I understand our history, I understand that we may not appreciate several countries based on our history but we are taking it too far.

Even that statement is flawed. They may not have existed as MULTIPLE nations but they were always there as ONE nation. The Caliphate were essentially Arab Nations. I guess 2,000 years is a bit exaggerated but 1,000 years makes sense to me. In fact, they weren't really occupied by any other nation either because there wasn't anything of much value or importance in the Arabian peninsula save for the two coasts (the Arabian Sea and the Persian Gulf)
