Arabs are much younger than that. Unless one counts the Egyptians under Pharaos as Arabs....! And even if so, Persian Empire invaded Egypt during Achaeminid dynasty (Hakhamaneshian), which comes back again, that there was only Persian Empire and nothing else there 2000+ years ago.
And also, all countries in the middle east, except Iran (and Turkey, if you count them in the same region), have a history of less than 100 years! Saudis are 80 years old as a nation, others even less, and Bahrain the youngest. These countries came into existence as a result of an agreement between Britain, France, and to some extent Russians to draw random maps in middle east and develop countries. But on purpose they drew those maps as such to have always tensions within each country and keep a balance. As we know that was a fatal mistake, and that's why you have so many wars going on in Middle East, chiefly Israel vs Palestine.
But in short, no Arabs didn't existed 2000+ years ago!

Throughout history, Iranians are known to be friendly and hospitable people.
The majority of Iranians like all types of races. Iran has been a center for many ethnicities and races.
Iran and PFDC should not be judged on the basis of few negative towards Arabs or other races.
The majority of us know what is right. The less this topic is discussed in open the better. There are people who take advantage of negative comments to make Iranians look bad.

In principle I agree with Cage's OP. Certainly we shd be more careful in others' company and in public fora.
But some of these chaps make it so easy for us to berate them with their provocative behavior. However again, in public it's better to show restraint
At the same time we must accept in TODAY's Iran, tragically we have a whole lot of immature idiots and morons who attack all and everyone and everything on a whim or on the slightest bit of information (sometimes, incorrect info!!!). It is a matter of great shame for us.
I dont see , or at least dont know of, any other nation whose internet users attack a TV host for her supposed 'revealing dress' or a football star for him scoring a goal or ... etc. !!!!!!!!!
These are extremely immature and f**ked up individuals who've been victims of an even more f**ked up, backward regime of nearly 4 decades. 4 decades during which our intelligence, sense of decency, common sense, ... have been whittled and erased with institutionalized approach of the regime!

Originally posted by Kian B. View PostSure they did. They may not have been known as Saudis, Bahrainis, Qataris, Emiratis, etc. but the Arabs as a race have always existed in the region known as the Arabian Peninsula. They may not have been Muslims, but they were very much Arabs. One example are the Lazgi tribes, who were a tribe of Arabs who at first were opposed to the expansions of the Persian Empire but later became very useful allies to them. And I say this while excluding the Arabs of Iraq, the Mediterranean, and North Africa, as those are cultures that have become Arabized after the Arab invasions. But to say that these nations are less than 100 years old is like saying Iran is only a 100 years old because it was formerly known as Persia or that Italy has no history because it was formerly known as Rome..... If you want to count the first Arab Muslims as the first true Arabs, then even that was roughly 1,200 years ago starting with the rise of the Rashidun Caliphate. To say that Arabs only have a history of 100 years is absurd.....
I said AS A NATION less than 100 years old. This is legitimate and true!
Second, recognizing that they are new nations, we cannot claim we have 2000+ years beef with Arab nations!

There was a shia Iraqi whow as supporting us, a Christian Syrian and an Algerian guy who were suprised why iranian fans are insulting them when they came to cheer for us.
EVEN IF YOU DON'T CARE WE LOSE OUR ARABS FANS,,,, do you realize when you guys go chant 'fuck all arabs' on official videos, your naturally creating a bias towards us? You think referees, AFC officials don't see this stuf? I know
I for one even if I wasn't bribed would have a natural bias towards a country that seems to be bigoted and racist. We need to be better than these Khaleeji arabs and stop generalizing them and set an example that reflects well on our ancient culture and civilization. I urge members on here and on youtube to stop this racism.
Well said! The racism on this forum is the reason I stopped posting on it ages ago. They are all ignorant pretenders though.
I am surprised at your signature. He is the ring-leader of the racists on this forum.STOP THE RACISM ON PDFC

I'll quickly give my opinion. I was watching the game on the AFC youtube channel and I was shocked with all these f*** arabs comments. Do you guys realize that we have Iranian arabs within IRAN? How would an Iranian arab feel reading these from his own hamvatans? Then we are the first to criticize when we see separatists movements in Iran... I understand our history, I understand that we may not appreciate several countries based on our history but we are taking it too far.
