That would probably make you very happy right?
I am glad Asian teams now take my team more seriously than they used to 10 or so years ago.

I am glad we have a few players playing in both, Iranian and Chinese leagues. That "inside" knowledge should come handy in the following two matches.

        - We out numbered them with shots on goal by almost triple their margin
        - They couldn't break down the defense without a slip up or error on one of our guys end.
        - There is 8 more matches left to be played and you're saying we are doomed and giving Uzbekistan, a team that has beaten us maybe once or twice in the last 10-15 years as the heavy favorite because of two matches (one of which they couldn't even do anything convincing over Syria )

Man we should contact IFF and have you hired as CQ's assistant ASAP we could really use your wisdom in TM!
But I think it's fair to say that this Uzbakistan team is the best they ever have had. They've been so close past in past 2 WC qualifications. Their confidence will be very high being 2-0 playing at home. It will be a tough one for TM for sure.

Uzbekistan only scored 1 on Syria...I am sure if we had Syria and Qatar first we would be up 2-0 as well. I've watched both of Uzbekistan and Korea's matches...both seem to have weaknesses and are definitely not as strong as fans tend to make them. I mean we talked about China as some huge team...they barely threatened our goal. Just need to be clinical with our chances in the last third.

5% chance for Iran to win against Uzbekistan? I think we need to take lessons from Cambodia or Kosovo then because they have a higher chance to win against Uzbekistan.
i know i told pedram, 5% is like uzbekistan is playing bangladesh

We didn't take a single shot on goal ... ??
baba joonam ... go and look at the match stats on AFC website
We had 17 shots / 5 on target . . . China had ONE on target
Uzbeks played Qatar and Syria and won . . .
Everyone knows the best teams in the group ARE NOT Qatar and Syria .
The ONLY thing we didn't do against CHINA was to SCORE .... They didn't threaten us like Qatar did.

I'm not saying UZEBEKS are not good. I am saying We are NOT DOOMED. Relax doosteh aziz

Every match is hard and every team has to be respected specially nowadays that the gap between teams is not big anymore like old times. It all comes down to the match day and the best focused and prepared team will win. I am sure the match between Iran and Uzb will be very hard for both teams.

I agree with you. You might not agree with my word, but China team will be the last in our group. Every other team will get 3 points in China, now sit back and watch. As we lost precious 2 points to most easiest team in our group.

I have tremendous love and respect for all the optimistic PFDC members!

Together we will prevail! Stop $&@%#ing and whining. Be happy with this result.

We wasted many opportunities. But we played better than China. The grass was really bad.

I'm tired of explaining why you guys need to take a chill pill. Luckily this isn't Daei's Team Melli. This is a different era with different players under a different coaching staff. They will come back smarter and better against Uzbekistan!

Lets not forget Iran tied Argentina 0-0 for 92 minutes. ARGENTINA. I don't know what happened today but we have exactly 1 month to pray because thats all we can do from here, but I believe Mr. Carlos, will def be taking a hot shower tonight with some musto-kheyar and gonna rip all the players a new one during practice in the coming weeks. The good news is, everyone here is pissed off at a TIE, and i bet the players are more pissed than us, which means the only thing thats good enough for us now is a win, thats a new standard of football we all are getting used to because our team now has a winning mentality attitude, but there is a fine line between entitlement and working hard for the win.

I saw all the games and i personally can say TM is heads and shoulder above ALL the teams in our group!! We just need time and now we have another month of preparation. This second round. I can say with 1000% confidence that TM will destroy who ever we play. Which will be Uzbek. Korea and Syria. I'm confident. Are you ???.....
