No announcement yet.
Benjamin Williams appointed as our referee vs Uzbekistan!
Maybe the AFC offered him some serious $$ to come out of retirement and screw us over again, but this time in a WCQ?!?
I doubt this is true; the third match day isn't for another full month, and as per protocol, refs are usually announced a few days prior ..... but now all of a sudden they announce the identity of the ref, who publicly retired 2 months ago, for a match that is one month way?! Makes no sense
I am not surprised in the least. Its typical of A(Arab)FC to appoint a scumbag who has a habbit of holding grudges for our crucial upcoming game.
Watch out. Camrankhan might call you out for being a racist. How dare you speak of AFC as if it's the arabs running it? Camrankhan is better than you, watch out...

apparently it is true.. and carlos queiroz and saket both have showed they are displeased with the decision of the afc in this regard. CQ said he doesn't know why kafashian doesnt do anything in favor of iran and knows all the problems they had with wiliams in the iraq-iran match. saket said that Taj definately will respond with an official letter regarding this matter today.

@ Kaffashian
I can just imagine Carlos yelling at him and he's just awkwardly smiling and sweating like he always does.
Seriously this has to be the biggest joke. I mean it has to be a joke.
Unless Benjamin Button wants to make peace by officiating against Uzbeks, then STILL NO!
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.
