Mansourian is an overrated coach. People (including me) were praising how his Naft played beautifully and kept possesion. Now he is no different than Ali Parvin.

Talent was lacking throughout both teams. So many chances squandered and again a 0-0 tie.

IPL has fallen off a cliff in the last few years and there is no path back without privatization.

I have no clue what league you have been following but actually it is the reverse, since 2010-2011 we have improved tremendously. Those where the dark days of our league, now we are seeing better days. You can't judge the league of one match, and you also seemed to be forgetting the last 3 derbies before this were great (including probably the greatest match ever last time).

By previously I meant a decade ago. Before 2006 IPL was a decent league and was actually better than MLS in terms of quality. Now MLS is far better in every aspect including talent.

Taremi has officially become borhani 2.0 it's crazy how much their games resemble each other especially the goal nazan aspect of their games....such a waste of talent. I hope CQ drops him until he gets his act together, I remember he dropped KA a few years back due to poor form and it really motivated him. He has got to do the same with taremi at this point....

Unlike many of you folks, I did not find this match lackluster or super cautious. On the contrary this was the most eventful derby goalless draw.

What threw and turned us off about this match was the goalless draw. In other words the players incapability to convert their golden opportunities was the main let down of this match. Had both teams taken best advantage of scoring all their wasted sitters, this match would have easily ended in a scoreline of 4-2 or 5-2 in favor of Perspolis, as they created more dangerous and scoring chances.

None of these 2 teams strikers should be invited to TM as long as they perform like this. Waste of TM squad if you ask me.

Both - but not all TV receivers can receive IRIB 3 in HD. When I was in Iran, some devices could receive the HD channel, some couldn't.

Unfortunately people get over hyped when they hear "Derby" and expect an El Clasico level game. Unforunately they forget this is still 2 teams in PGPL, and this was a good match for Asian and PGPL standards. Persepolis tried to keep the ball and play through the midfield which is great to see.

Sorry man that match was bad. I saw two freekicks in 5 minutes from persepolis on the edge of the box and they couldn't get it over the wall. Even the guys I play with in Premier division in Toronto don't do that. Poor display of soccer.
