Might get hate for this but Mohammadi would do just fine against Uzbekistan. Asian players on the whole are the least speedy in the World and this kid can fudge up the other teams counter alone with pace. So many teams Chinas fastest player at RW tried to get away by knocking it forward only for Milad to cut him off.

Its going to be a stalemate game. Jahanbakhsh needs to cut in on Denisov and take him onv1v1 only way we could get some goals here.

Jahan bakhsh is not fit and did not play in Holland last week.
Having thought about this I believe best option is to use Taremi in the right. He is not a good CF as he misses many goals. But he is ernergic and can win one to one duel in the right side. Torabi in the left Gucci in the center and Shojaei behind. Ashkan, JB and Azmoun can be kept on the bench for
the last twenty min and ready for the next game against south Korea.
We need technically strong players who can win one to one duels in the right or left. Hajisafi could play LM but not LD. Mohammadi is a better choice.
Ansari was not impressive against esteghlal and is not expierinced enought for this game.

Actually, we have some kind of uncertainity and fear, to be honest, as the Uzb has been struggling to score at home games lately... Uzb 1:0 Bahrain, 1:0 Philippines, 1:0 Syria - all goals been scored in the second half. All teams playing so tightly with defensive formation the same thing i expect from CQ and TM. We all understand well, if we concede first, then a point could be a like dream in the upcoming match. I will not get surprised if we play quite defensivley in order to create some space in the opposite box...

Regarding the aussie ref, we share the same thought as you do, no idea how he is managing to stay in the ref list of AFC... He has been unfair toward us, even Irmatov would be better choice in terms of fairness in the match vs Iran... )))) The aussie must not officiate in these kind of serious games...

This is one WCQ game that I am very scared of a possible loss
Uzbekistan matches up very well against TM or better
4 years ago they out played us in both matches and deserved to win both games too
If it wasn't for the jap ref mistakes.
Forget winning, even if we get a draw I will be very happy

In tashkent they were better yes but no way they outplayed us in tehran. If the emarati ref would have allowed nouris legit goal it would have been 2-0, 3-0. The assistant ref was fucking with us all night. If you watch the highlights he even raised his flag on guccis header when he was like 3 metres ONSIDE lol
                Esteghlal 💙💙

That disallowed goal was offside clearly, as a player was blocking the Gk which is FIFA rule. We better talk about clear goal by Akhmedov in Tashkent when sucker NIshimura couldnt see... Irmatov had given him and his colleagues from Japan great lesson in the final match between Japan and Australia in 2011, how to judge the situations.

See how the UZ player thanks the ref in the last.

The angle is not saying if it was considered as offside or not, but the lineman couldn't tell from there. It was the referee in middle who should have seen the right angle.

For the goal to be offside two conditions should met.
                      1. A person be in offside position
                      2. That player be in active play

                      1. Khalatbari was in offside position when Nouri shoot the ball
                      2. His position is not clear from the side angle to judge if he was in active play or not. If he had blocked the path of ball right in front of the Uzbek goal keeper then it is a classic offside case. If he was 1 meter to the right or left then it is not considered as offside. So unless you have a video showing the situation from a better angle neither you can call it an offside nor us calling it a legitimate goal.

This is the lineup I want against Uzbekistan

                        Beiranvand

                        Ghafouri, Hosseini, Pouraliganji, Mohammadi

                        Teymourian, Ezzatollahi

                        Jahanbakhsh, Shojaei, Dejagah

                        Azmoun

Dejagah is out due to injury. He won't accompany the team in matches vs Uzbekistan and S.Korea. Jahanbakhsh is injured according to AZ website. Also, Azmoun had a minor injury when a Russian football player hit him on the head during a match prior to Bayern Munich match. I hope Mohammadi won't get hurt in Russia. We still have Torabi and Gucci. Amiri is also injured for now.

Azmoun should be fine if it's a minor head injury so he should easily be ready for Uzbek game. Torabi might get the start then depending on Amiri health.
I believe JB will be just fine in time for the trip.

Apparently, it wasn't so minor. Yeja khoondam mesle inke bihoosh shode boode va bordanesh bimarestan. He was playing vs Bayern Munich after taking some pills while playing with caution.

Who do you guys use as AM against Uzbek? Dejagah is injured and he was totally out of form. Shojaei is garbage. CQ is going to start with Shojaei most likely. IMO Jahanbakhsh should be used as AM and Torabi as right winger. What do you guys think?
