Ghermez Agha, thank you for your informative response!
I had a major withdrawal from football and have not been closely following anything really, especially about our Milliy Terma, due to obvious reasons.

I think our team has weakened a bit compared to the last cycle, but they started off really well with two wins, which caught me by surprise.
Geynrikh is good in mentally tense games, but not on fast-paced competitive games. He is good at slowing things down when we don't want to play on a fast-paced tempo. But he is very experienced and can capitalize accurately when given the opportunity.
Rashidov is in-form and good. Denisov is in great form. But I think that is about it. Akhmedov is a bit overrated and lacks creativity compared to Jeparov.
But I believe the new coach is quite ambitious and is working hard to prove himself to be a good tactician. He may not have quite the same depth of talent pool that our previous campaign had, but it seems like he is managing to make it work.
I know there are few local keepers that are also no less good than Lobanov. But I don't want to see Nesterov in action anymore, he is done, IMHO.

Thanks for your informative contribution on this forum,
I got an off-top question to you. I am curious to hear your opinion or in general the public opinion in your country about that match between qatar and uzbekistan, back in 2013 when it came to the 5-1 against qatar. Do you think it was a back-office-dealing?
      Thank you Nader.
I cannot tell if it was a back-office dealing because I do not have the proofs. But given the fact that we won by the exact same margin that was needed, one will be tempted to think so.
On the other hand, I want to point out that Uzbekistan and any other Central Asian country to that matter, never enjoyed favoritism. We pulled off everything we were able to with our teeth and nails, so to speak.
We experienced countless questionable treatment and decisions. It is no wonder Kazakhstan turned away and left AFC for UEFA altogether. So, I do not see a single reason why they would do us this "favor".
It might be a one-sided decision from the Qatari side to be a party-pooper for Iran in case it drew with KR.

Every game is a must win game! .. otherwise why even bother playing!

We need to change the mentality!

better way to put it is that 4 points is a must from our next 2 games.

We need 7 points from our next 3 games and we will be in prime position to advance. Getting 6 points from both Syria games is very crucial along with getting MAX points at Azadi.

TM should not get ahead of itself...and think only one game at a time...

I guess we don't need to be worried. We have this guy. Guess who?

That is torabi. I say we use Taremi in the right torabi in the left Gucci opfront. I hear Darush shojaeyan is also giving test in TM.
I think we better keep Azmoon, JB and Ashkan for the Korea game. Because the game is physical and the aussi ref.
Taremi is clever when he plays in the right side but not so good in CF.

This is precisely the attitude and problem our athletes and teams have, which from time to time breaks our hearts as well as their own. Cockiness at its best!

I truly hope Torabi will turn into our next super star. He is fast, technical, great shots with precision, and more importantly very young!

It is criminal that Torabi is still stuck in IPL and not playing in a top European league.
