It's quite paradoxical, we definitely had a better team with a really good coach (aghaye shams) like 4 years ago. We were almost reaching the level of Brazil and this year where we actually didn't have much to expect, we not only beat Brazil for the first time but we also made it to the last four. I really believe that these guys there are giving everything they've got. What surprised me the most is that physically we were quite good. Way better than Paraguay

Well-played, and well controlled. The scoreline does not reflect the total control by TM and the multiple near misses for TM. We can take either Russia or Spain, bring it on. For those hoping to avoid Spain, TM actually holds the psychological advantage if we meet in semi-finals, as we can only learn from our previous mistakes, and can only go up.
