I believe this is the first team sports top 3 finish for iran. in any sport! in adult division of course.

We could have been in the Final. But that is okay. 3rd place is amazing considering all the problems we had, jersey, camps, friendly games, all the injuries. The list of problem was a lot. we did also played Brazil at least 4 times to get to the final. Azerbaijan, Brazil, Russia and few Spain players and few Portugal players were Brazilians.

In futsal we dont have problem with friendlys do we? I have seen many times we play Russia, Italy and Brazil in friendly...

yes we do have problems with friendly. we went to this tournament with very few friendly games. we were grossly under prepared. But the guys really pulled through with ghyerat and individual technique

I disagree with you on that. everyone is talking about Irans passing and movement, Iran played like a team, and the prepared good, we did not get so many games but we did well in the team work.

That comeback was great to see, let the world know what Iran is made of. We have the potential to compete against any top team in futsal and football.

All I can say is a big wow. Our boys did it again, falling behind 2-0 against a world powerhorse, and then playing brilliantly and deservedly equalizing, and once again winning on PSO. Kudos to our boys, made us proud!

The importance and highlight of this win and title come into play, when you realize that this is the first time ever in our history that any group sports team of Iran clinches a world cup's 3rd. place!

BTW does anyone know what the average age of our team is? Ferdosipour kept saying our young team, so that statement made me quite curious to find out what the average age of TM is.

Wow our Abbas Torabian is up there in the winners ceremony along side Gianni Infantino and other officials.

He is looking very worthy and in place.
That's how it should be. We need to hit the federations, especially in the sports we are world class
