Stop saying Iraq played better and stop being some modern Bigheyrat
Arabs never play better than Iranians. Iranians are always better than Arabs and if God forbid Arabs win its because they cheat.
    Referees and overaged players.
Some of you are so bigheyrat

WATCH YOUR MOUTH HOW YOU TALK TO OTHERS! WARNED!

Iran held on extremely well against a physically superior side.
I'm proud of our actual 16 year olds.

However I'm also angry that they couldn't reward themselves in penalties. The players would have gotten a stigma of invincibility. Imagine the confidence they would have gone into their professional careers with.

Our weakness in penalties is an actual disease that has to be cured from its roots. Penalties are no lottery and we desperately have to work on ourselves.

I guess the integrity of the game matters little here. Which is fine. If we even had one Iranian player overage I would not take this win. We still make jokes about Hossein Kaabi's age. There are tons of evidence in the first two pages and mentioned before but no one cares fine.

IF this is Iraq's U-16 team, they will crush everyone in 10 years and congrats to them. Their player Dawud was star of tournament. IF he is really under-16, then he's a hell of a player. People's best line is "you're a sore loser" without refuting any facts posted.

        Anyway the crusade is done.
        Duste aziz,

my very own brother was a hell of a talent in his young says. The frickin first day he started to practice with PP youth team he was told to go to a guy(name was given by the coach himself lol) and bring down his age.
        I shit you not.
Unfortunately it's a common thing around the globe with fake youth ages.

Now even if the Iraqi team had overaged players in their squad......it didn't help them anyways. A fricking penalty shootout was neccessary to beat us.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

I respect Bessos for his time and dedication to our community. Sly is a user name who posted sane stuff but why did he get banned or disqualify? \

There is also Sly username on ISP sport website. Is he the same person? Are you Sly the same person?

Please do not attack each other.

I watched the game, Iraqi team played a little better than Iran. They have a couple of good players. Congratulations to both Iran and Iraq. I am glad they played a fair game. In order to win, Iran needs to improve and they should get better.

          Cheers.
Irani jan, I'm the same person! But I did not get banned. I think there are more fights going on under this thread!

              Iraqi FA Admits Age Fraud

Big news after today's events, the Iraq FA has decided to relieve the U-17 coaching staff of their duties and penalise the overage players. According to reports around 18 of the 23 players are over the age of 17!

The Iraq FA could according to reports, halt all participation in age group competitions at all levels from U-23 to U-14 and is thinking of taking steps dismiss coaching staff and conduct extensive investigations with players and coaches over age-fraud! We wait and see

Looks like the Iraq FA is covering its own backs, we all know they have prior knowledge of what happens in youth competitions. As one official in the FA told me when I spoke about an amnesty with the AFC/FIFA to try and stop it "asking for an amnesty is clear evidence of fraud!"

Journalist Nour Nazar states the Iraq FA had recieved a tip off from a figure at FIFA that someone had presented files on age fraud in Iraq since 2011, including document and video evidence and these had already reached FIFA general secretary @fatma_samoura

The figure at the FIFA had leaked the information to the Iraq FA and informed them of FIFA's intention to open an extensive investigation into age fraud in Iraq, after receiving the names of Iraqi coaches involved in taking money for forging documents.

This could all be a rumour but it may suggest the Iraq FA's efforts to attempt or appear to attempt to tackle age fraud in the country. At the moment there has only been talk of any action. The Iraqi government should also take a stance.

The Iraq FA's rulings today: 1- Relieved head coach Ali Hadi and his coaching staff of their duties supervising the Iraq U17 team and banned them from working for any national sides for life. (1/2)
2- Relieved U-17s team manager Ali Wahaib of his duties and banned from working with any national team for life.
3- Banning any player who was arrested at the airport from playing for the Iraqi national team at any level for life! (2/2)

After investigation, Younis Mahmood, Iraq's best player ever, speaks about the negativity of age fraud in Iraqi football. This is from today.

I wonder if they will award us the championship for this? Their best player, Dawood, was 20 at the time of this tournament (he is now 22). He was 4 years older than Younes Delfi and 5 years older than Allahyar Sayyadmanesh. This is so unfair.

                Bullshit cheating ...

I got so much flak for speaking the truth on this issue ... F all of y'all haters.

Banning cheating players for life is kind of interesting. But it will sure be a huge dis-incentive for other young players to cheat in the future.

I know it's unfair that Iraq cheats majorly with using overage players, but ever since our Asian Cup 2015 catastrophe we struggle against Iraq. We don't match up well with them because they tend to play the game of their lives against us and it gets TM psychologically.

I want our boys to end this curse and beat Iraq in the group stage at the upcoming Asian Cup. Anything less would be a fail to be honest. Iraqi's are already too cocky in the recent years.

Iraqis have admitted to age fraud for years. Only people who deny Iraqi age fraud are Iranians.

                          That was one game.
We beat them in AC 2011. We beat them in World Cup qualification, home and away in 2002.
The didn't even technically beat us in 2015. They tied us and won the penalty shoot out.

Its only a sore spot, if you make it one.

So now that the Iraqi football's association has come out and admitted that they have been officially cheating with age fraud in Under- tournaments, does that mean that our 2016 U16 team can be officially declared champions? As their best player, Dawood, was 20 at the time and he was playing kids 4-5 years younger than he was.

The AFC will not do this - but this is a serious issue.
