I realized Mansourian is an idiot when he said "Beiranvad is an Esteghlali" after Naft beat Esteghlal Tehran, and some whiny SS Tehran players were upset that Beiranvand got too happy after they won.
Instead of saying "he's happy because we won and he played great and there is nothing wrong with that" Mansourian decided to say this nonsense. Watch at the 5min mark:
He lost all my respect after that as it became obvious he was a typical Irooni manager.

Sounds like Mansourian is regretting bringing up this supposed "offer".
He's avoiding the issue:

You guys are hard on Mansourian.
A problem we have is that our fans are impatient with their team's head coach. They don't understand that many factors affect a team's shortcomings. They don't see or they don't want to accept that it's NOT always the coach's fault.
I'm not saying Mansourian is a coaching God, but he sure as hell isn't the worst. I believe he shouldn't be the only one blamed for Esteghlal's current standing.
Fans quickly forget about looking at the situation from different angles. Their viewpoints and opinions are very one dimensional and unfair.

Anyway, you have to see the context! Beyranvand was not just an average player who was celebrating a win over another team!
Beyranvand had hinted several times before that he's an Esteghlali and used to love Esteghlal and all that, and there were rumors of a possible transfer to Esteghlal, so actually what Mansourian did in this specific case, was trying to "soften" things out for Beyranvand, considering the good possibility of him transferring to Esteghlal the next season.
So when the reporter asks him something like "Do you know why Esteghlal fans started booing Beyranvand? Was it because of his excessive celebration?", he responded in a fashion of "Meh, it was nothing personal directed towards Esteghlal or its fans, he himself is an Esteghlali", again, considering the fact that Beyro had hinted towards him being Esteghlali and a possible move to Esteghlal in the near future.
Furthermore, he actually came up for Beyranvand, hinting towards him still being young and that we should not be harsh on him or over-analyze all of his actions.
And AGAIN (in case you didn't get it the few times I said it before in my post lol): All of this taking into consideration that Beyro had mentioned being an Esteghlali himself plus the good possibility of him going to Esteghlal.Last edited by Amin_; 10-06-2016, 03:37 AM.Persian Pride running through my veins!

You're missing the point. There is nothing wrong with celebrating a win. A good manager when asked "Do you know why Esteghlal fans started booing Beyranvand?" would say:
"I don't know, you would have to ask them".
