I love the entire TM staff... Gotta love Dan Gaspar and how he has improved our GK and helped with the development of Beiranvand and Akhbari... Also he made Haghighi a much better GK in World Cup.. The numerous interviews he has had and the amount of good things he has had to say about Iran is heartwarming..
Then the great OCEANO Cruz who has been a great assistant to CQ. I wouldn't mind one bit if Oceano took over as Team Melli coach once CQ retires.. All the players seem to love Oceano.
Javad Nekounam is also great as assistant since he brings his enthusiasm and has great connections with players since he recently retired. I can see Ando in his role within a couple years

We had 1 extremley bad loss actually we had 2 under CQ against UZB in Tehran and against Lebanon,
But thank god cooler heads prevailed and he did work his magic to get us back in
1 bad loss this time and there will be no panic its a long process

1. I love everyone here, but the fact is : Not EVERYONE here KNOWS Football. And what it it takes to win at the International level.
2. CQ has show over and over that (as in ANY sports ... DEFENSE wins the match for you) . Why? Cuz it assures you DON'T LOSE IT. Getting into a shoot out like we did in the days when Daei was a youngster or Karimi was a youngster is not how football is played now.
3. He won a chess match today. 25 minutes in we get a key goal. And in the second half, he puts in the gifted starters who were ON THE BENCH to seal the win and protect the lead. And we could have had one more goal.
4. Tactics today AND tactics fro the next match.

One of his best coaching jobs. Congrats to him and the entire coaching staff. We beat a GOOD team today, IN THEIR HOUSE.
BE PROUD. Enjoy it .
But stay focused and humble. Nothing is clinched YET
