I see everybody saying that the South Koreans were talking shit about us before the match and calling their coach a piece of shit for things that he said/did. Could somebody please fill me in? I didn't see what was said/done leading up to today's match. Thanks.

As far as individual player performances, Dejagah and Hajsafi really stood out to me as our best players today. Dejagah was very smooth on the dribble and shredded the Korea midfield.
Hosseini and PAG duo were brilliant as always in defense. I loved Amiri redeeming himself and playing better today...

The one player that has been impressing me lately is RAMIN REZAEIAN... This guy hasn't played a club match in months, played terribly against Qatar/China... and now has played back to back great performances providing Sardar with the assist today.. He was flawless shredding Korea

And finally, KING CARLOS QUERIOZ! What else can I say about this guy.. He is a tactical mastermind and knows exactly what to do with our team. When I say in CQ we trust, I literally mean that.. The guy is a genius and has elevated TM to a new level..

What I really liked about the German team was their trademark disciplined attitude and how they took control of the pitch. The Koreans didn't have much of an answer to Germany's composure.
              Impressive Germany

I only wish Iran could play with such composure and discipline.

The only flaw from the boys in this match was that there were a few selfish moves where passing to someone else would have been a MUCH better option - this was one of those instances.

I wish we can always play East Asian teams ... better than the likes of Iraqis and whomever else. Look how respectful they are. It's always about football with them.

Iranian people should be proud of their team.
Not only being very skilled and well-organised, but also they never tried to waste time and keep attacking ambitiously until the end. Clearly different from arabic teams.
Well done, IRAN! Greatest respect from Japan

I was so comfortable watching this game. I was not stressed like I was in our game against Qatar or China. We could have easily scored 2 more goals if our players were more focused.

What a sweet 6 points out of two exteremly crucial opponents.

In the past 3 games before this one against SK they would usually dictate the game and we'd score and play conservatively to close out the win. What happened this time around was that Iran controlled the entire match. Entirely. This match could've ended 3-0.

Iran's defense once again proves its consistent aptitude. Koreans failed to get behind our defensive line, and when they did, it was offisde.

ZERO. ZERO shots on target in two games in a row against the top two teams in the group, one of them being supposedly the most "creative "and "hyped" attacking unit in Asia.

We have proved to be the most tactically superior and defensively organized team in Asia. Hands down

                          CQ - 11

And an honourable mention once again to Rezaeian, what an attacking outlet.

What a huge difference Hajsafi made by being inserted besides Ezatollahi. They don't call him Ehsan Fabregas for nothing . He went from being a liability on defense to be an asset all around. I think Carlos has found Ehsan's position.

Him and Ezatollahi were exceptional. Both are young and have a great all around game. Milad Mohammadi was exeptional as well. His move to Russia has taught him a lot.

As of today TM has the best record and the most points of any AFC team in qualifiers. Keep it up boys!
