In my book every single player was amazing. Their performance is motivating me to better perform in my life. What a motivation factor they are.

All the players deserve a 10 in this game but Azmoun! He would get a 10 for that beautiful goal he scored but after doing that "takravi" and losing that scoring opportunity when Rezaeian could have been alone in front of their goal, he decreases his grade IMO!

He still needs a lot of work to grow up in the field!

I think this is the first time in our football history that a coach had a long term plan from day one! people who criticize CQ are people with no vision! The TM we are enjoying right now is a top class tactical team that we actually never had! We always had to rely on individual magicians like Karimi, Daei, Mahdavikia and so on but what we are experiencing right now is a team with no superstars that is tactically so strong with a different game plan for every match! CQ has my biggest respect and I thank him from the bottom of my heart as a true Iranian for his services for our beloved Iran! Love Iran, Thanks CQ

But then again this is exactly what we all have been longing for all these years. Our self understanding is that we are a world class team and the best in Asia, and according to that we have to play just like that on Asian level, even against Korea. The real hard-fought match-ups will then come against the great teams of the world.

I have nothing to criticize really. Thank you so much CQ, just how much of a master coach are you?


Yet let us not forget the part of our team that is not world class yet - the attack. Sardar and Alireza are almost world class but we need a playmaker in offensive midfield badly, to dirigate our attacks.
Most of our attacks we do not play to the end properly. We need one to join forces with the others on attacks and to dirigate those attacks.

I wish we would qualify for wc with like two games in hand, so that we can throw in a newcomer and acclimatize him.
Who is there though (with potential for world class)? Only shekari comes to mind. He needs to make his breakthrough in IPL quicker and move to Europe next season at latest.
Or maybe even Alex Samizadeh. He needs to go pro by winter.

What you're saying is true.

It's not new! I always give credit when it's due! When TM plays well and as they should, I do acknowledge that! But unlike some others, I don't go around thinking we are the best revelation when we have so many drawbacks! I've always been that way and will continue to be!

Today, TM played a flawless game and for that, a big big credit to CQ, the players and the rest of the responsible people, including Taj and Saket!

We use to freak out when players like Karimi, Bagheri, Mahdavikia were injured, now we don't rely on individual players anymore and we have a great substitute for every player. Imagine what a team we have that some of our stars in IPL are benched in TM like Torabi

At least Sardar scored, this is very important for him since he hasn't scored for a while. We can't use him against Syria, let's hope he scores some goals in league and also UCL
