i think we have to win and not concide, so far we are the only team among 12 teams to have not lost, and not concided, i would say we have progressed alot, i remmber in 2014 edition , we lost to lebanon, and uzbekistan and even indonesia scored against us, and if we can go to the world world cup with no lost and no goals concided would be good. we concided 2 goals in 2014 qualifiers ,ironically they were the goals which made us lose 2 games, hence CQ know how important defense is.

So now that this match day is over, I think we just need 3 points out of the next 3 games to guarantee at least a second place finish in the group and qualify. I think we can definitely beat Syria at home, so the next 2 won't be as important, even if we lose. But we should be able to beat Uzbekistan at Azadi. I can't believe we can qualify without having to wish for a miracle or have a heart attack lol

Youre right, one win our of the 3 and we are confirmed to the WC, but do you really want to leave it till the last match day against a 11 grassrollers in Syria? No.
Our job is very simple-- usually teams have to win to qualify, our job in the next 3 games, is not to LOSE.
