Adam Armstrong bagged a hat-trick as England Under-20s made a winning start to the Continental Cup in South Korea on Wednesday morning after an 8-1 victory over Nigeria.
The Young Lions, who in East Asia as they continue their preparations for the U20 World Cup there next summer, made an electric start to the game at the Suwon Sports Complex and were four goals clear by half time.
Captain Taylor Moore got things started in the 19th minute, before Armstrong doubled the lead just a minute later.
Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke made it 3-0 in the 25th minute before Armstrong got his second of the afternoon two minutes later to complete a whirlwind eight-minute spell for Paul Williams’ side.

دیدار دو تیم ملی جوانان ایران و نیجریه دقایقی پیش به پایان رسید که شاگردان پیروانی پیروز این میدان بودند.

به گزارش سایت رسمی فدراسیون، دیدار تیم های ملی جوانان ایران و نیجریه از ساعت 8:30 امروز برگزار شد و در نهایت شاگردان پیروانی با نتیجه یک بر صفر پیروز این میدان شدند.
در نیمه دوم نیما مختاری جای خود را به مجتبی نجاریان داد. نیما طاهری به جای حسین ساکی وارد زمین بازی شد و علی طاهران جای خود را به محمد سلطانی مهر داد.
همچنین مهدی مهدیخانی از زمین بازی خارج و محمد آقاجانپور وارد زمین شد. محمد امین بهرانی از زمین خارج و امیر حسین امیر طاهری به جای وی وارد شد.
در دقیقه 78رضا شکاری تک گل ایران را وارد دروازه نیجریه کرد.
همچنین در دقیقه 81 داور بازی برای تیم نیجریه پنالتی گرفت که با نمایش خوب نیما میرزا زاد، این توپ وارد دروازه ایران نشد.
این بازی 6 دقیقه وقت اضافه داشت.
رضا شکاری- زننده تک گل ایران در دقیقه 94 از سوی داور بازی اخراج شد.
گفتنی است، سومین دیدار ایران برابر انگلستان روز شنبه 22 مهر ماه برگزار میشود.
